Positivity only thread.

We have lots of threads having a pop at various things at the moment, so how about we just have 1 thread for any positives that we might see.

I had a nice dinner washed down with some nice beer. The sun is shining. I am ignoring the X factor.

It's all jiggy.

1. Kamdjo fitting in nicely into a holding midfield role is something that I never ever ever even considered, (not even when someone suggested that Leach play there a few weeks ago).

2. Deering is starting every week now.

3. O'Brien was good again to day, (despite picking the ball out 3 times).

4. Ricky Holmes is turning into a FAR better play than I envisaged, (yes I know that his goal today was only a tap-in).

5. LS must have tried every centre-back partnership at the club except for DD & Leach. He is bound to have to try to play them together soon.

6. Borrowdale has played a few games for us now and I am yet to hear 1 person say that he is useless and a waste of money.

7. We are at least passing the ball now.

8. Plymouth were 2-0 up today, (playing against 10 men), and only got a point.

9. Since Price joined Morecamble he has scored 1 goal in 5 games and apart from the 6-0 win on his debut, they haven't won with him in the squad.

10. After being allowed to sign the likes of Kingy, Plymouth are now under a Transfer embargo and 2 signings planned for last week were cancelled as a result.

See. It's not all doom and gloom. :ouch:

Any more?

Mark Hughes was nowhere to be seen today :D

Lloyd Owusu got another chance to show us his warming up skills :cold:

Hereford only managed a measly 3-3 draw at mid-table Swindon :Drink1:

we score goals and have players with genuine pace. last season we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, and with virtually the same squad we are improving, albeit it slowly. I expect a centre half to come in on loan this week, and i think we will continue to improve...If we had spent a few million in the summer, i could understand the outpouring of angst, we did 'nt so its slowly slowly catch the monkey. To build a team without spending takes time, 16th to 20th would be a big improvement. ( I actually think we will finish half way )

No local games in E Mids this season so I'm saving myself some grief.

Sanchez, could be leaving for N. Ireland. Nothing could be more positive than that.

Dangerous is normally right about these things. If we can find a centre half equivalent of Borrowdale then our defence will start to look a lot stronger.

Hereford have to play Bradford on Saturday (then us the week after), so the teams around us can't all get maximum points. *

Nobody is ever relegated in October and we still have 102 points to play for.

We've already won 3 Cup matches this season compared to 0 last season.

We haven't lost 0-7 this season.
