Burnham Ramblings - match thread

Postby Norfolkbee » 14 Jul 2012, 12:47

Can't make today's match - off to Haye/Chisora showdown, but I am sure someone will keep me up to speed on the Bees' score, line-up, trialists etc.

Turned round and gone home! So much traffic on M25 and awful weather. To be honest, don't care 1 bit!

M25 was bad, but I battled on. Dean Sinclair and Jake Hyde are both in attendance.

I'd definitely like to see Jake Hyde come back, I always thought he had something of value about him. He reminded me of Bully. I think his experience at Dundee will have helped him mature as a player and he seems to be the kind of skillful forward who would interest MR (ie, not the Ben May type of striker). 6 goals in 22 games for Dundee isn't a bad return.

This isn't an official club forum so why don't you just name them?

I hope we sign Curtis Weston he's a quality player at this level.

I understand the Club not making public those who are trialing at the club in training, but since when has the club had a policy of not naming players that are publicly playing in a game wearing a Barnet shirt?! You're publicly showing them off, it's hardly cloak and dagger stuff is it or some big secret?! :geahh:

Whoever the 5 is, he's looked decent so far. Gambin has been bright, unlike the weather. Been pouring it down for 15 minutes now with lightening around the ground. . Not helping our passing game.

Wouldn't be surprised if the game is abandoned. Pitch is getting waterlogged.

5 is Kevin Rutkiewicz whos spent his entire.career in Scotland.
I don't see the point of keeping trialists names secret when they were announced at the game.
Conditions horrific anyway. If .the second half happens we won't learn anything as passes aren't going more than 5 yards

Cheers! Jon Fortune, ex Charlton is playing second half, along with Deano and Hyde. I think Anthony Edgar is another trialists.
