Interesting article from Rossi here, including details of players he tried to sign last year. To think what could have been...
Very interesting. Our team last season could have had a totally different look. I wonder if Rossi is working with Jack Savile in their scouting roles at Chelsea?

Apparently Eames is scouting and coaching for Chelsea now in the Academy. We will never know who he tried to sign during the summer window but this gives us a little indication of who and what position he was trying to sign.

I was mascot for that Hartlepool game.

Interesting that Rossi mentions he tried to sign Hiram Boeteng before Exeter pipped us to his signature. He would have been the ideal central midfielder. It's ironic that when Exeter brought him on as a 2nd half sub, that tactical switch changed the game and it would seem all of our fortunes for the rest of the season after what had been a promising start.

Boeteng played for Crystal Palace in the pre-season friendly against us, and he was a pain to play against that day. When Plymouth initially signed him on loan, I was thinking... why is it we don't get players like that?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Completely agree - however, knowing our luck with injuries last season, had we signed him, he'd quite likely have broken his leg or similar in his first match for us!

Bolasie to Villa on loan.

Should never have left CP. Same as Zaha.

Yannick Bolasie and Albert Adomah played together for Barnet in 2009-10 ... now reunited at Aston Villa.

I loved Bondz. Might pop along to see him this season as I live (too!) near.

The Glad All Over chant will no doubt be copied. :D

Given our struggles at CB, why didn't we go for him!?

There's quite a big chance that Albert Adomah, Yannick Bolasie and Jason Puncheon will all be playing for Middlesbrough come next week.
