Pearson looked a very good player at this level. Can understand why the club made the decision they did though. It doesn't matter how good he is if he isn't on the pitch playing games.

Yes, I see that Soccerbase is lacking the line-ups from that match. 5 in 8 isn't bad either! ;-)

Huddersfield Town have reportedly offered 750,000 for Andy Yiadom.
Apparently Barnsley value Yiadom at around £2 million.

TERRIERS TO INCREASE YIADOM BID

Huddersfield Town are about to make a new improved offer for Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom, according to Sky sources.

The Terriers have already had a bid worth more than £1m turned down by the Sky Bet Championship club.

Swansea City and Queens Park Rangers are also interested in the right-back who has been capped twice by Ghana.

Yiadom moved to Barnsley from Barnet last summer and has 12 months left on his contract.

Bira Dembele turns down a contract offer from Motherwell due to better offers further south - says a lot about the state of Scottish football that they can't afford players we've released.

Non League Leyton Orient have just signed a player from Motherwell, Craig Clay, who played 35 games for Motherwell last season.
Maybe Motherwell are having some money problems.

There's a lot of to-and-froing of players between League 2/National League and the SPL (apart from Celtic, Aberdeen, Rangers and Hearts) generally.

According to Motherwell message board, Clay was out of his depth, 98% invisible,"utter baws", etc, etc.

Ah! Ben Tomlinson, another player in the Coulson mold. Did his signing really serve any purpose?

Orient have decided to not sign Michael Gash as his long-term injury meant that it would take too long to get him match fit.
