Well this is a depressing story:

Undoubted talent but what a d*ckhead.

Yeah, the guy who put his arm around Puncheon and told him that it would be a good story for the Sun certainly sounds like one.

Hard to know who the biggest twat of the 3 is. I nominate Ben Chorley for top spot.

Sadly not Punch’s first such incident. This from 2015:

“PREMIER League star Jason Puncheon clashed with darts fans outside the world
final telling them: “I’ll kill every single one of you”.

The Crystal Palace ace, 28, tore into eight lads in Santa hats who wound him
up in a taxi queue.

Witnesses say he made a gun gesture with his fingers and claimed to know
gangsters.”

Would be interesting to know how much or little help and guidance he has been given during his career about learning how to deal with the fame and fortune aspect. Guess it wasn’t much of an issue at Barnet.

IIRC he was arrested at least once during his time with us.

Kyle de Silva has just signed for Bromley. Remember him? Edgar got him in on loan from Palace and he got a straight red for a two footed tackle against Dagenham.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Surprised he wasn't signed for Real Madrid, the need to start looking for a successor for Ramos!

I was at that match and I, along with everyone else, was totally mystified as to why he was sent off. I certainly don’t remember a two-footed lunge!

Perhaps I am confusing the challenge with one of Michael Leary's party pieces...

Not a player I fondly remember. His elbow on an MK Dons player that got him rightly sent off was particularly moronic as was his red card against Swindon Town in the FA Cup.

Not that I condone foul play, but the Swindon player he performed GBH on had been tearing us apart. He became practically invisible after Leary's intervention.

Worse than either of those was when he insisted on taking a late pen at Exeter, although he wasn't the designated penalty taker, and rolled it gently to their keeper! There was also another silly sending off v Daggers and some nightmare games at CB (Chester away springs to mind). To be fair he scored cracking goals against Gills (h) and Shots (away).
