Can do it even cheaper via Leeds (11.50 advance singles both way Leeds to Carlisle, then a Shef-Leeds cheap day return should bring it in at around 35.00) - plus you get a trip on the glorious Settle-Carlisle line. That's the way I'm going from Sheffield anyway.

Just had a look Chris and your one is way cheaper, I thought I'd done well but going that way I can get it down to £28 if you are careful with times and use individual tickets. Very annoying that train companies don't give the best price when putting in full route

This is my local derby game, only 115 miles from home (Livingston). Train tickets purchased yesterday for £28.80 but could have got them for £15.00 but this would involve a long wait before and after the game.
Wonder what sort of support we will have?
