Back to punting after a few days away.
Three today.

4.10 Nottingham BUZZ (5/2)
5.15 Dundalk AMBERSCOLE (100/1)
7.45 Catterick BEENO (9/2)

So, BUZZ has won its last two on the All Weather. Despite its hike in the handicap this nag has real chances.
AMBERSCOLE, don't bother with this one.
BEENO is a very decent hurdler. Today runs over a shorter distance but on the flat. Has chances.

Best of luck folks.

BEENO was a 5/1 3rd yesterday.
Four chances today to deprive the bookies of some sleep and some cash.

3.55 Newmarket AMBER SPARK (6/1)
4.10 Newbury BEER WITH THE BOYS (25/1)
5.05 Doncaster SAVE THE BEES (11/1)
7.20 Tramore AA BEE SEE (6/1)

AMBER SPARK was 2nd and 1st on its last two runs on the all-weather. Today it runs on Newmarket's July course.it might get us off to a decent start.
BEER WITH THE BOYS has done nothing in its five previous starts. One to avoid.
SAVE THE BEES won two starts ago off a lower mark but up in the handicap because of that. It is a bit inconsistent this season.
AA BEE SEE First run since February. Decent horse, but I might just watch this one. The jockey has done well with it in the past but the long gap since last racing is a concern.

Best of luck folks.

AA BEE SEE and SAVE THE BEES both finished 2nd and both were at 8/1. Good if you did them each way.

Two today.
3.05 Thirsk BEE MACHINE (33/1)
6.40 Bangor AMBRE DES MARAIS (5/1)

I prefer the latter. AMBRE DES MARAIS had three wins this time last year, one of those was at Bangor, a course which doesn't suit all horses.

Best of luck, folks.

Another 2nd place, this time AMBRE DES MARAIS at 9/1.
BEE MACHINE finished 7th and has a quick return to racing today.

5.25 Carlisle BEE MACHINE (16/1)

So, after Monday's flop what is different for BEE MACHINE today?
Well, firstly a change of jockey, secondly a step up in distance from 7f to a mile, thirdly a new course and, possibly most importantly, a drop of 4lb in the handicap.
Given all of the above this may be one for all you optimists out there. A very small each way punt could produce a return.

Best of luck folks.

BEE MACHINE did not run well.
No obvious nags running either yesterday or today but there is one running in Ireland that may (or may not) appeal.

5.20 Killarney TONY THE GENT (5/1)

Will you invest in this one????

Best of luck folks.

You are being a little harsh, Reckless. This was a very close race with only 3 and a half lengths covering the first seven. Yes our nag was 7th but he did give you a run for your money.

Just two today and they are both in the same race.
8.00 Redcar HADLEY (18/1) and DISPLAYING AMBER (25/1)

These are both pretty desperate nags. HADLEY has won once in 31 starts and DISPLAYING AMBER is still to score after nine starts.
If I was to choose between the two I would probably go for an each way on DISPLAYING AMBER. There are 18 runners and the bookies will pay out on 4th.However, my cash stays in my pocket today.

Best of luck folks.

Two Bees-related runners for you today.

3.05 Epsom JACK TAYLOR (15/2)
5.20 Southwell BEE MACHINE (9/2)

JACK TAYLOR (I had to include this nag after Jack's wonder-winner on Saturday) runs in a very fast race at Epsom. It is the youngest in the field and is a few pounds out of the handicap, so bet with caution.
BEE MACHINE has had a busy August. It has a rare run on the All-Weather surface today. I would not re-mortgage to bet on this one.

Best of luck folks.

BEE MACHINE was a winner yesterday at 3/1 whilst JACK TAYLOR was 4th, only half a length behind the winner.
No obvious Bees nags today so I've picked out one to help inspire our number 9.

6.00 Ballinrobe BERKELEY BYRON (33/1)
With 16 runners and bookies paying out on 4th place this might be worth a sneaky each way punt.

Well, BERKELEY BYRON showed us it's speed. It finished a mere 89 lengths behind the winner!!

Two today which you might be sweet on.
5.10 Musselburgh HONEY GG (9/2)
5.45 Worcester HONEY B (66/1)

Forget the latter, but HONEY GG has chances. The female jockey takes 7lb off the weight. It hasn't won yet but has run well twice over course and distance.

Well, if you did some "spread betting" on our two yesterday there was no nectar for you, I'm afraid.

Two regulars feature today.
4.20 Musselburgh BEE MACHINE (4/1)
5.35 Fontwell AMBER FLUSH (14/1)

BEE MACHINE is having its 5th race of the month. It won last time on the All Weather, but reverts to grass today. Raised 6lb for the win so I would be cautious.
AMBER FLUSH is inconsistent. It has been lowered 3lb in the handicap which might help its cause. Again, bet cautiously on this one.

Best of luck folks.

No joy on Thursday. Today it's across the Irish Sea for our two bets.

1.40 Curragh LIGHTNING AMBER (12/1)
2.50 Curragh DYNABEE (10/1)

Both races are valuable stakes races, LIGHTNING AMBER stands to pick up 47000 Euros if it wins today (3rd,3rd and 2nd in its previous starts) and DYNABEE stands to earn 38000 Euros with a win today.

I will be happy with a win today at Dover.
If you are punting, best of luck folks.

No Bees nags over the past few days but we have two today.

2.00 Sedgefield THE BOOLA BEE (9/1)
3.30 Sedgefield BEENO (11/2)

THE BOOLA BEE makes its handicap debut today on a course that the trainer has a good record at. Could be an each way possibility.
BEENO is a course and distance winner and has made the frame on each of its previous three races. Worth consideration.

Best of luck folks.

Well, BEENO was a 6/1 3rd, hope you did the each way.

Two today.
4.00 Newcastle AMBER SPARK (8/1)
6.50 Down Royal DARK AMBER (20/1)

Of the two AMBER SPARK deserves a good look. Its last race did not go its way, steps up in distance today to a mile and at 8/1 is worth a decent each way punt.
Don't spend too much time or money on DARK AMBER.

Best of luck folks.
