Amber Spyglass 9/1 - £1.17 e/w & Flutterbee at 5/1 (trained by some bloke called 'Cosgrove') -

Clears me out if I lose, but of course, how can I, the gods are with me!

Flutterbee was a non-runner so you might have to lump the last bit of your money on today's no-hoper, Choral Bee.
Choral Bee runs in the 5.55 at Worcester and, in a 10 runner race is quoted at 50/1.
How annoying, MCB, if this actually won and you had to keep betting!!

Not sure how - but I still have "Balance: £2.34"

So i've gone £1.17 e/w on the magnificent beast Choral Bee - 100-1 on Paddy Power - potential returns £142.74 (only 9 horses - how bad do you have to be to be 100-1 in a 9 horse race?!).

Anyway, if it does win, that's my England vs Malta ticket sorted for the away end of the Luke Gambin Appreciation Fanclub!

Well, you had a good ride for your money (no pun intended).
I hope you keep reading the thread, and you may be tempted to risk another tenner for a bit of fun.

I'll certainly be keeping an eye on it - it's been great fun.

Well, after the excitement of a winner yesterday can our luck continue tomorrow?
Two "Barnet" horses race tomorrow, the first to go is Amber Crystal in the 2.15 at Ayr. The odds of 14/1 indicate that the bookies are not frightened of this nag, and when you see it's recent form, you can understand why. However the handicapper has been very generous reducing its rating by 5lb since its last run.
Quebee runs in the 8.05 at Windsor, and this nag is definitely worth a look. I know it is hard to believe but Quebee is actually a very decent prospect. Odds of 9/4 will help you buy a pint of Adnams after it romps home.
