With his old mate Ricky George next to him, if I'm not mistaken.

I seem to re call spotting him a few times at the Hive, I guess with so many premier league games being played on Friday, Sunday and Monday the bbc don't need Motty every Saturday.

When Exeter played Man UTD in fa cup replay in 2005 he mentioned about Exeter losing to Barnet on the Saturday who are leading the conference by a country mile.

I'm pretty sure he mentioned Sean Devine being an ex-Barnet great in that match too!

Hon Life Member or Hon Vice President would work, he wouldn't have to do or pay anything but would be a good recognition of where he started out and he has clearly always remembered that.
I'm sure Gary Phillips was made Honoury LIfe President - but not sure what it entitles you to - or where these things are recorded
They used to be recorded in the match day programme (inside front cover , admittedly a dull page)and most clubs have an honours board(s) which I'm sure we used to at Underhill under the main stand, which should have been saved to our 'temporary' home. I'm sure more enlightened fans (Reckless?) would know about these things...
Radnom Question.

The old boardroom at Underhill used to have a sign saying ties must be worn at all times. Is this still in operation at the Hive? :Pardon:

Well Matt, I assume that you have already put out pre-contract feelers to Motty to co-present the Loudmouth vlog? I appreciate you cannot announce anything yet with Motty still contracted to the BBC, but a subtle hint about a new presenter next season will suffice to us in the know (wink wink). I appreciate that you may have to coach Motty a little to reach your own very high levels of commentating, but I am certain he can step up to the mark.
Anyway, I look forward to your vlogs each week and feel sure you can tempt Motty to postpone retirement and start a new career on Barnet's top fans video programme!

I'm working very hard be-hide the scenes to get this deal over the line.

Good luck to John Motson on his final live BBC commentary on Saturday and also for his retirement thereafter.

He used to get his haircut quite often in Steve's hairdressers on station road in Finchley Central. It's a long time ago but we had a couple of great chats. Lovely guy and completely down to earth.
