Sadly I was back to winning ways today. I took Sky's 2/1. I was so optimistic at the line up I was sure I'd lose the bet. Having said that, it's a line up that will produce results in the not too distant future so be careful backing against the Bees from now on (imo).
Port Vale will likely be too early, as will Newport but beyond that we could well be back to winning ways.

Nothing wrong with making money from seeing a car crash of a football club at the moment mate.

Well done, Norfolk & Chance. :hi:

Thanks,
I've pencilled in the Grimsby game as the game to end our long winless run. The odds will probably be very good too as I'm a little concerned about our next 2 fixtures.

Grimsby kindly gave us 1 of our 9 league wins in 2017, won 't want to lose twice!!

Yep, one club will not want to be responsible for 20% of our wins in 2017. I do hope 'can we play you every week' is sung!

Port Vale win 11/10 (BetVictor)
Bees win 3/1 (Bet365)
Draw 127/50 MarathonBet, several bookies offering 12/5)

Difficult to call this one, with the McGhee factor, Big John and Shaq with another week's training under the belt and Port Vale in good form.
Our record at PV is not great so my inclination is to go with the home win. I will be delighted if I lose my stake money, though.

I'm going for a 1-1 draw.

Difficult to pick a winner but a point would be a good start for McGhee at a team in form.

You can get 7/4 on a Barnet win, draw no bet odds. Paddy Power and Betfair.

I bet last Sunday on a Vale win with Skybet at 5/4. Seemed good odds for home win.
Skybet gave me a 5 quid free bet which I've put on a draw to hedge it a little.
Cue Bees win!

That's a very good price. The players will give 100% today. McGhee doesn't tolerate shirkers, like Mad Dog.

William Hill is offering 5/1 for a penalty to be awarded and scored, cue big John Tom Pope.

Barnet 5/2 to win Tuesday night.
Newport not won at home in the league since Oct 7th.
It's not out of the question we could sneak it.
Probably a hard fought draw if I was betting.
I'm sitting this one out, I literally can't call it.

Newport win 23/20 (Bet365, Coral, Betfair)
Bees win 14/5 (BlackType)
Draw 27/10 (Betfair.

Lots of punters are going for the Draw, and I would not disagree with them. This could be MM's first point as a Bee.

With MM possibly experimenting a little with players he's not yet seen, I think that in a wet Wales on a Tuesday night, he is perhaps risking a defeat whilst prepping for the first home game.
I'm afraid I've plumped for a Newport win, albeit yet again, very close.
Hope I'm wrong!

Bees win 13/10 (BlackType). Most bookies offering considerably shorter odds.
Grimsby win 5/2 (BoyleSports,Stan James, MatchBook)
Draw 13/5 (Bet365, Betfair)

If you think the Bees will win get in early. I'm sure that 13/10 will soon go. I'm optimistic!
