FT 2-1 bees. Massive win. I still believe!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Going to be tight. Grimsby have us and Chesterfield at home, FGR away. We have FGr and Chesterfield at home, Grimsby away. Chesterfield have us , FGR and Grimsby away. There is a mini league remaining.

It looked very cosy on the terrace today though!John10 wrote:Wehey let's rock out with our cocks out.
Absolutely soaked. Bad idea to go to the game in my sandals and vest but there is hope. Massively erect. Sitting in the car in the car-park stuck behind a dodgy driver who can't reverse out the space. Hope I don't have to pay £1 to get out the car park. Balls are tingling.

Quite right. Teams playing each other but at least today's result keeps us in touch. Big occasion for us at Stevenage on Monday now.pgbee wrote:Going to be tight. Allen is back and Akinde is back to his successful penalty technique, Sweeney immense again he’s my bet for player of the season.
Allen’s substitutes for me were spot on although I thought Akinola was unlucky to be subbed but Shaq was ok when he came on, I think Akinola had just run himself into the ground on the heavy pitch.
I’ve forgotten how good it feels to win a game of football!!.

What tawt wanted to drop Big John? Your scare tactics must have worked!
Great win on a pitch that worked against us. Was it worth the midweek international at this time of year on the assumption that didn't help the cause?
Scraped over the first of several finish lines, but happiest Saturday for ages. Big congratulations and heart to all

You have Saturday to look fwd to with a day without football unless you want to watch St Albans at Gloucester CityBee52 wrote:What tawt wanted to drop Big John? Your scare tactics must have worked!

Re: Crewe (Hive) - The Match Thread With That Friday Feeling
That was the performance of a team fully motivated by MA. Everyone gave their all and the midfield trio was competitive enough to ensure that we had more of the ball than them and the defence was well protected. MA’s subs made a positive difference too. I do have a slight concern that we’re still not creating enough clear-cut chances but I think they will come and we gained our two penalties through our best two moves of the match. Most of all, I believe it is still possible.

Good point Hoofer2. I got carried away and genuinely forgot what day it was!
