A club spokesman said: “People have been getting their knickers in a twist. Barry can’t act as a club director while he is banned from football. He has not left the club.”

From my reading he's resigned as director but remains at the club
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Sam Muggleton has reportedly broken his femur and dislocated his knee whilst playing for Darlington.
Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery, but I would think that's his season over.

Sam Muggleton injury:
*Fractured femur
*Torn ACL, PCL, LCL, and a torn tendon.
Pretty horrific set of injuries. That knee will never be the same again. It's bad enough tearing one ligament.

That is just a horrific set of injuries. There is footage of the injury doing the rounds, i'm refusing to watch. His first priority will just be walking again.Masuka wrote:Sam Muggleton injury:

Yes indeed! Hope the poor lad recovers as well as he can.MCB wrote:That is just a horrific set of injuries. There is footage of the injury doing the rounds, i'm refusing to watch. His first priority will just be walking again.Masuka wrote:Sam Muggleton injury:

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
The irony is that it wasn't even a foul, it was apparently a fair challenge, 2 committed players, no booking - just awful misfortune.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Just watched it. Horrific, the way his leg bends. Would be amazed if he plays again but really hope so, all the best Sam.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Poor Muggs, wish him a swift and successful recovery.

Harry Crawford scored twice on his debut for Bedfont today in step 4. That's about his level I think.
Ashley Carew has joined step 4 basement team Egham on loan from Dulwich - and straight away they've also appointed him as assistant manager!
