Note that Halesowen Town's feed informs fans about pitch inspections. If only our club could do the same...

Reckon we could do with a webcam on the Hive Pitch. Would resolve a lot of worries!

The match is off
Re: Daggers (Mire) The Only Way Is Drainage Thread
How surprising. Comms from the club are nothing short of a disgrace and surely a local ref could have carried out c an inspection earlier. Total contempt for supporters once again.
Re: Daggers (Mire) The Only Way Is Drainage Thread
So predictable and embarrassing. The club needs to get its head out of the sand and stop being so disingenuous. It was obvious the game wouldn't go ahead tonight.
Let's have some honesty and decency now. This is becoming contemptuous.

That is surprising. Thought we'd have a good chance of a game as it has been mostly dry.
I can't see any way the Halesowen game is going ahead.

My positive nature is being tested to put it mildly by this

This is becoming serious. It's hardly rained in the last few days in this area and we've even had plenty of sunshine and wind.
We are still in winter so cannot expect the weather to significantly improve for weeks to come. I fear that the pitch is fundamentally broken. Other clubs are not having this problem. This will destroy our promotion hopes.
The Club has to be honest and tell us what they plan to do!

Fuming. Absolute joke, what a disgrace, it’s not even raining. Feel sorry for Currie and the lads. Joke

I’m pretty sure it has rained in some way every day since last week, but yes our pitch appears to be broken.ETBee wrote:This is becoming serious. It's hardly rained in the last few days in this area and we've even had plenty of sunshine and wind.

Maidenhead and Wealdstone on tonight. Embarrassing especially as we have a team we can get behind on the pitch and now this - got to feel for DC

It's scheduled to rain from Thursday until Saturday kick off, so highly unlikely, unless we can find an alternative venue.Mikel Bee wrote:That is surprising. Thought we'd have a good chance of a game as it has been mostly dry.
