Looking at current form I wouldn't be surprised to see that in about 3 weeks time both us and Bromley have dropped out of the top three to be replaced by Altrincham, Solihull or Aldershot!

Altrincham's run was always going to come to an end - and so it has. Back to back losses.

We'll be fine.

Looking at the away sales from the Chesterfield fans for Tuesday’s game it seems that many of them have taken refunds judging by the green spaces in Blocks A, B and C. That postponement of the original game (20th January) is going to affect the attendance quite a bit.
Unfortunately a few games like this - Bromley especially I would assume. Another negative of the trophy run you could say!
Another? What are the others?

1 Injury and 2 games rearranged is hardly fixture congestion - one of which would have happened had we been out of the trophy anyway.

Gateshead technically have the best PPG & GD out of all of them - things change quickly but the worrying thing is there is 5 teams in the chasing pack which allows little room for error.

I was genuinely so positive until I heard the injury news, major players return then becoming match fit right in the run in - this can still happen but we need to keep our noses in front.

Tomorrow is pretty important as we have potentially our 2 hardest fixtures (potentially the hardest) of the season remaining next week!

I take it you wouldn’t want to come to Wembley then if we were to make it.

Massive game, let’s get 3 points and begin to make the Hive a fortress! They will need the fans to roar them on today!

Foresee this being a very tough game with our threadbare squad, but if Freeman & Brunt are firing on all cylinders, we should have enough to overcome them.

Let’s get GoD some actual service today, for such a young lad he’s looked excellent so far.

I would not lose any sleep if we did not get to the Trophy final. It is for mid table clubs with nothing to play for. Prefer the players to be rested and focused on the league.
