No consideration shown to the fans of some of those clubs who have quite distant away fixtures who may well have something to play for on the last day.

Indeed. The National League has become as bad as the PL in terms of consideration given to fans.

However, now announced one of the FA Cup semi's at Wembley will be 5.15pm on the same day, so I guess that's why they've gone for the early slot (Jerroll mentioned earlier 3pm is blackout?). I guess it's great the National League is shown on TV, but the price you pay. Not sure why the games aren't on the Sunday mind you.

Less time to settle any final day nerves/more time to celebrate?

The first play-off eliminator is on the Tuesday - even with the games on the Saturday it’s tight in respect of ticket sales, staffing etc for home clubs & travel etc for away clubs (we were lucky last year that we knew before the last day that we would be at home on the Tues). Also, regular season fixtures on the the Sunday would give just one clear day before a huge game on the Tuesday for two teams!

Spurs v Arsenal confirmed for 2pm Sunday 28th - smack bang in the middle of the 2 semi-finals (based on last year’s KO times).

Can’t catch a break atm.

Either Arsenal beat Bayern and the Arsenal/Spurs match moves to Saturday or National League/TNT move kick off times of semi finals. That would be the sensible option so probably won't happen.
