Can we do it at the 7th time of asking?
I got on a coach at Blackpool as a 16 year old gutted after the playoff defeat
Walking out of Layer Road knowing we should of won, PA announcing the attendance at the end of the game as 40k then saying that's next week at Wembley!
Peterborough well couldn't argue with that Farrel hatrick
Shrewsbury packed in behind the goal and matched them only to lose on pens
Yeovil/County....meh!
Borehamwood throwing everything at it but coming up short

Only away at Peterborough have we really got battered we have always lost narrowly

Fingers crossed I can get my Wembley suit measured up on Monday!

I've put a fiver on Solihull to beat us 4 nil.....

Away from playoffs but in the context of Wembley we also lost the Southern Area JPT Final at Paolo di Canio’s Swindon, and at the Heed last year of course.

I was at Layer Road that night and am still bitter that the ref bottled a late penalty for us when he gave a free kick for obstruction instead.

Good morning all.

Just awake after a weird dream where the game must have been playing on my mind more than i thought.

The game failed an inspection after heavy overnight rain. The National League said it had to be played at the nearest suitable stadium, It was not able to be played at Ruislip because the newly irrigated supersurface was a mud heap so it was played at the Bees Stadium.

Paul Daniels and Ronnie Corbett were presenting the coverage.

Now that threw me. There was a doppelganger of Ronnie Corbett when we watched Welling v Barnet earlier in the year.

Paul Daniels was a nickname we gave to an Altrincham supporter who came to England C matches we attended overseas.

So I have taken it to mean Barnet will play Altrincham at Wembley Stadium on May 5th.

Or maybe it was the food i ate yesterday. Mama Fifi's in Barnet Spires. Very tasty. Recommended.

And with this post i remember the surreal offerings of my dear friend Alex Jones who i hope is in good health and makes it from Wales to Wembley for next Sunday with many old friends who alienate themselves from the Hive. I hope they are watching our results with pleasure and will come should we make it.

Steve Percy said he saw Alex post recently but i missed the post. Can anyone enlighten me?

See you later my fellow Bees/

Nurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrse.

I'll just take my tablets and go back to bed.

I think it's safe to say that Alex Jones won't have posted recently unless he has a new registration. Anyway I thought Steve Percy didn't read the website?

I presume Thompson is fit then? Just watched his interview and he wasn’t even asked about it. Could be just the sort of calm, experienced head we will need out there today.

Stuck on the A1 trying to get to the game. Motorway shut after an accident at Letchworth.
If i don't make it I'm going to be seriously pissed off!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
