The new stand certainly looks steep.

Re: New North Stand
That really shows how much higher the stand is going to be compared to the terrace it replaced. It's going to look great!
Re: New North Stand
It may even cut out some of that Arctic wind we get at some (or all) games.
Re: New North Stand
I don't mind the wind, might have been some of the reason for our home record. We know how to set up with it and defend. Muggleton's throws won't go as far either with no wind behind his back.

Re: New North Stand
Would the long-term plan be to do something similar to the south stand?
Re: New North Stand
I think TK would like to eventually, but any further expansion of the stadium will be on hold until we progress higher up the league pyramid and have a need for it. The new North Stand going up now was needed really in order to provide better dedicated facilities for visiting fans. Any new stands will require a fresh planning application. I think I'm right in saying that the West Stand still has an extension to the rear to be built first?
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: New North Stand
I certainly get the feeling that this is going to change the whole look and feel of the stadium. Blocking out the wind and helping to trap any noise made should make it a much nicer place to watch football
