Hive Memberships

Post: # 298450Post timbee »

Just received this email:

“Dear Member

Following on from suspended Membership payments in April, we will be collecting a Membership payment on or around the 27th July to cover the period up to the 31st August 2020.

Thereafter, all existing Hive London Memberships will cease.

New memberships will become available from September 1st 2020 and we will keep you updated accordingly.

We look forward to seeing you back here very soon.”

Something new on the cards? Don’t mind paying this month as the team have been in action but curious to see what happens in September.

(And if anyone can edit the subject heading ...)

I got the same - I'm expecting Hive membership to go, be replaced by something more complicated and expensive and no longer kid a quid for my boys who also have Hive membership

The second email talks about the gym but doesn't mention Barnet FC. Seems to me to be unnecessary confusion.

Haven't got any email at all. Had to register again last week on website to book tickets. The inconsistency of Barnet hope it doesn't change

My email went into junk folder, wonder if we've got to " reclaim " our seats.

I reckon this is tied into upcoming social distancing guidelines to re-open stadiums to spectators. The club may have already been pre-warned what's likely to be involved so they can start planning now.

From October onwards, we will probably be able use a restricted capacity, which means we have to be more spaced out. The majority of members have seats in the central blocks of the west stand, so by ending memberships this could give the opportunity to re-work where everyone gets seated. I suspect we might be using every other row, and possibly 2 or 3 seats spare in between household groups.

If my suspicion is correct, hopefully those with existing memberships get first choice at re-choosing where they sit.
It remains to be seen what the guidance says on away supporters attending games. If for any reason this is discouraged (it might not be... just thinking out loud as usual) we could get the North Stand too.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I have a Hive membership not a full membership. I cannot attend every game so book tickets as and when. The Hive membership gives a 10% discount on price of ticket, or let kids go for a kid a quid

Not got an email yet either. Guess they are doing it in batches. Assumedly a social distancing thing. If that means we can go to football then fine.

Does this only apply to the £2 membership? I haven't received any email but don't see how West or South memberships can be charged without being able to watch any football in August.

Just for info I have had a seat in the West Stand since we moved to the Hive. I’ve got quite attached to it and the guys I sit with so will be a bit sad if we have to change places.

As yet I still have not received any notification from the club. I have emailed the but alas no reply.

I have got rather attatched to my seat n Block D having been there since day one.

Come on Barnet get your act together and tell the loyal members what you have planned for the future.

Were they waiting to see if we were promoted???????
