Re: 2nd round draw
Home tie against any non league side
Guarantee we will something really crap 3 hours drive in a higher league

Re: 2nd round draw
Home against Ramsgate or Alfreton. 2nd round, you just want the easiest team at home.
Re: 2nd round draw
We'll either get whoever is team left nearest top of League One at home or Eastleigh away
I remember playing Watford and Burnley who were both at the top.
Cray Valley Papermills for a "Lisbie" derby

Re: 2nd round draw
I was thinking there are very few draws I’d actually want. I’ve not been to Horsham so I wouldn’t mind that although it would be a difficult game.
Re: 2nd round draw
Doesn’t feel like there’s many non league teams left compared to previous years.
Hopefully a better draw than last year after similar routes to get here.

Easy home game. Anyone crap. Get us that bonus money. Move onto the next round where we can start thinking about a big tie

Altrincham away 3rd rd day needs to be worthwhile tie in rd 3 to cause a Tuesday night game there!WillesdenBee wrote: ↑04 Nov 2023, 23:59 Easy home game. Anyone crap. Get us that bonus money. Move onto the next round where we can start thinking about a big tie
Re: 2nd round draw
Either an easy one at home or notts county away as I happen to be up that way that weekend
Re: 2nd round draw
Hoping for a really toughly fought draw for Chesterfield today, followed by a plum home draw for them, should they win the replay, to create maximum distraction for next Saturday. A few key injuries would be nice too!

Re: 2nd round draw
No glamour ties in round 2.
Just have to embrace whatever we get.
Feels like there are less "little teams" in the cup, because there are a large number of full time ex-league sides in the NL filling up the 4th qualifying phase.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: 2nd round draw
We'll end up with a good league one team away. We never seem to get any joy in the draws.
