Another game where we were well worthy of a point (a la Oldham).

Results generally went our way - still in 3rd.

Looks like we're suffering a reverse of the luck we had against Southend with various post hits/ balls not quite falling in past two fixtures.

Difficult January is now over and we're still in a great position.

Please can the rest take a breath before posting
Tell me how we’re going to pick up any points if Nicke is injured, and with the “finishing” we’ve seen today?

Gateshead had only won at home once since 3rd October and have been struggling, so that’s a worse result than the table suggests. Just to ladle on the gloom a bit more!

With no cover we’ve been lucky with Kabamba’s availability. Stead is not a striker in our system - can see him playing in a front two, but he’s not the sole central striker.

Need to get someone in regardless of the severity of Kabamba’s injury, but of course fingers tightly crossed on that.

Think this is a question many supporter is wondering.

This is spot on, over the Xmas period Dean and the players rightly so we're praised for three wins out of three, but at same time with the results over the last four of five games they have to except criticism when it's warranted like today. Kabamba aside has been known as are short of fire piwer, when Collinge and Gorman got injured we knew replacements were not good enough, and results of late have proven this, it's not supporters having a dig, or being negative or not supporting the club, it's a fact.

Because he’s nowhere near good enough and we have plenty of players who can play in that position (although I agree we sometimes lack pace). The far stranger decision was selling Revan when Collinge is injured for two months and Stevens is both unfit and seemingly not very good.

I was there today. I think combined today and at Oldham, we’ve created 8 clear cut chances. The tactics are working. We’ve always conceded goals, we just aren’t scoring

Yeah I’m wondering why Yeovil (league below) didn’t want him any longer.

Hartlepool scored the winner today after Senior came on so he can’t be that bad. We also scored 2 at Chesterfield after he came on and set up 2 chances.

Only my opinion.

But if you read between the lines and wonder why we are clearing out players, with loans and permanent transfer's.

It could be construed, that we will be using the money saved to make some expensive signings.

A proper centre forward is a must, especially as Nicke could be out for a while.

Probably hinges on the January Transfer window.
