What concerns me is that if we beat Welling next Saturday and they beat Hendon, we will then have a 1 in 7 chance of having to play them in the FAT Quarter Final. Horrible thought.

Watch from 1:23, the flare that hits the ref clearly comes from the away end.

Just think of going to Wembley if both teams got that far! At least there would be more stewards per supporter for that.

It would be a blessing and a curse if we play them at Wembley.

I will be hoping we face Hendon there!

Fingers crossed some of them get some perspective in the intervening few weeks. I don’t hold out much hope, for these are people who watched the scenes from Wolves vs West Brom and thought they were something to emulate.

And even their supposedly ‘respectable’ fellow fans seemingly justify it - the vitriol, the abuse etc. - to themselves because 20 years ago Wealdstone had a failed project to develop the Hive and then Barnet didn’t illogically simply let another entity who isn’t Wealdstone FC win the council tender for the site. Somehow this makes sense, apparently.

Hopefully a few of them get a hobby/a girlfriend/a life between now and our next fixture. Seems unlikely, I know, but we can hope.

Great to have that video, no question that it's been thrown from the away end, orange flame for a second then blue.

It would be a tragedy which doesn't bear thinking about. I'd rather we lost at Welling than had that happen.

Good statement from the club. I think that future fixtures between the 2 clubs should be played behind closed doors.

Club statement says again Wealdstone fans caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

"While we have expressed our serious concerns in the past, we hope that the support we have been asking for over the past few seasons in relation to this fixture will now be forthcoming from both the League and Wealdstone FC."

I wonder what this could mean?

It felt particularly tense outside the Hive Bar post match during a stand off between both sets of fans, though thankfully nothing appeared to boil over.

Sounds like the League don't want to get involved and WFC just pay lip service.

why should those of us who attended the game and behaved in a sensible manor be stopped from watching our team.

I can understand why you say that but that solution is akin to throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Wealdstone should be fined for their supporters’ actions, the perpetrators need to be identified and charged/banned and the police in conjunction with the club need to review how to police this fixture.

And deny our supporters a trip to Wembley after a 50 year wait? Wealdstone or whoever i'd love to see my Bees at the natuonal stadium.

1/7;is a long shot.
