Marvin Armstrong
Re: Marvin Armstrong
He'll have to get used to playing in front of big crowds now!
Re: Marvin Armstrong
Sorry incorrect information! Previous year! Probably Thursday,28th March!
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

Agree but there again, it was a terrible decision by their manager to leave Worthing to join York.rudebwoyben wrote: ↑15 Mar 2024, 12:39 Regardless of his football ability, I think it’s a terrible decision for him to join York. The club is a complete shitshow at the moment and they’re going to get relegated. Just watch the highlights of their 6-1 defeat at Altrincham on Tuesday.

Re: Marvin Armstrong
Like him a lot, but at times the lack of quality stood out which is more than matched for by his agility. I think playing at a less technical side will do him a world of good.
Re: Marvin Armstrong
Brennan has brilliantly managed out of favour players out and off our payroll this season so we can re-invest whereas in the past they’d stay with us till contract expiry, be it beard, Diarra, Armstrong or Barrett.

Seems a bit strange with so many injuries and games coming up. But I guess DB knows what he's doing.
Re: Marvin Armstrong
A fair decision and I like what it signals, ok is not good enough for us now. Frees up some salary

Re: Marvin Armstrong
Always seemed to under perform when starting but did well on a few occasions coming off the subs bench.
My only concern is that we are becoming over reliant on loans at the moment

He missed a number of clear chances from 4 metres out when given match time earlier this season. Not surprised he has moved on now we have Drew-Morris and Freeman.
Re: Marvin Armstrong
only likely to see 3 start tomorrow , Hartigan has been here since game 3 so is no different to a player on a 1 year deal, Thompson adds height to the defence in the absence of Oluwo & Keeley has been brought in as the sweeper keeper the management didn't think Lawrie was. Jordan Maguire-Drew was signed with a view to a permanent move so may well be here next season & Gatlin O'Donkor was signed to cover Nicke's injury initially. Personally i would like to see 3 fulltime strikers next season but understand they are the the hardest deals to do financially.northantsbee wrote: ↑15 Mar 2024, 15:41 Always seemed to under perform when starting but did well on a few occasions coming off the subs bench.

We were similarly dependent at the back end of last season when we had Harry Smith,Finlay Potter & Jordan Cropper starting and Manny Fernandez & Moyo in the mix as well!

Marv is always best of the bench after 65mins and brings energy. Strangely underplayed when we needed him recently. He was unbelievable at Bromley last season

Drew-Morris is good, but Maguire-Drew is even better.hoofer2 wrote:He missed a number of clear chances from 4 metres out when given match time earlier this season. Not surprised he has moved on now we have Drew-Morris and Freeman.
