Our club badge which features the red rose of Lancashire and the white rose of Yorkshire is very appropriate as we are playing a club from Yorkshire in Lancashire.

Very close to the anniversary of the Battle of Barnet.

Yes the only previous time we have played a league game away on neutral ground was the game v AP Leamington which i think was the next game after the Brighton cup matches so Jan 82. IIRC didn't Hendon play an FAT match v Taunton i think, on same day,either before or after Barnet's game. QPR were trying to promote the awful awful plastic pitch by offering it for multy use. Game unsurprisingly finished 0-0

But why did we need to find a neutral venue in the first place? Presumably Underhill was unfit for some reason?

Was it due to the great freeze that winter?

We are in Whinney hill stand, Is that the usual away section for Accrington games?

Yes

Very appropriately named for some of our supporters, indeed some of most teams' supporters for more than one reason.
