That was their home for the 2 seasons we played them there!letchbee94 wrote: ↑10 Apr 2024, 20:09Yea.
Nearest I can think of is when we played Brighton at Gillingham in the late 90s but that was different scenirio.
Re: Halifax
Glad something has been sorted. Hope doesn't cost any travelling fans too much, looks like you should be able to change at Leeds, if time/connections allow. Kudos to you! Be a strange experience I'm sure and be interesting how many Halifax make the trip for a massive game for them.
The National League has no excuse for not scheduling more games earlier in the season next season. It seems so obvious to use the Tuesdays in summer)autumn to get games in. This doesn't sound like Halifax's fault but could have been avoided. It's rubbish that we only have two games left but may still need to wait for Gateshead to play more games, otherwise we'd be able to rotate team on Saturday ready for the play offs in mind. Let's get out of this tinpot league!

Re: Halifax
This also now sets a precedent. All eyes now on Gateshead and how they intend to fulfil their fixtures
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I was thinking it was late. I admire your resilience. I hope you make your connections.

Though it seems far from Yorkshire to Lancashire (with my poor geography) there appears to be decent connections and at not too unreasonable an additional fare so hopefully it works for our travellers.
All in all a sensible solution.

Gateshead and Halifax are going to be knackered come the playoffs.
