Big games tonight
Re: Big games tonight
Got a feeling Solihull will edge it, but I'd like to see Gateshead's fans celebrate winning the trophy a week later.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Big games tonight
I can't decide who I'd prefer to go up. No love for either club and don't really like either as an away ground and not much in it travel time wise for me. I guess I'd prefer to lose Bromley as football should be played on grass!

The Battle of the Dreadful Away Toilets.

Brackley Town v Boston United. Live on TNT, coverage starts at 3pm. Winner takes all and will be one of our opponents next season.
We have had many encounters with Boston over the years but I don’t think we have ever played Brackley.

Boston 2-1 up with about 15 to go
Re: Big games tonight
Poor Brackley. Seem to have an even worse play off record than us. Never happens for them. 10 points clear of Boston and all for nothing!
Re: Big games tonight
Brackley's 6th successive year in the NLN P.O.s and 6th successive failure. So gutting for them.

Least they have got to finals.
At least 1 new ground next season anyway.

I wonder how much Boston Utd are paying Michael Bostwick?

Used to love going to Boston in the past. Pleased they are up
Re: Big games tonight
My only real memory of Boston United was Danny Brown's scissor kick finish in a 1-1 draw, live on sky as the home side were on their journey to the title. Steve Evans was their manager at the time. Good luck to them next season, apart from the two matches we play against them, of course!

Hopefully not that much. They must have to save most of their budget for the perfect AMBER shirts that they were wearing that Kleanthous has always said were too expensive to buy. Amazing what can be done with a bit of effort. It’ll be worth going to the more new ground next season just to see a team in amber.

I was at that game with a group of mates well oiled with our inflatable bananas. We spent most of game shoving eachother over advertising hoardings and just having a laugh. Darryl clare got a whack on the head by the inflatable fishing the ball out the net. Them were the days...
