Recruitment will be huge, need much dynamism in defense and midfield.
Nonsense. The problem isn’t the quality of the players - you don’t don’t finish second with poor players. The problem is with mindset and mentality and players that don’t turn up when it matters most, and a management team that is pretty consistently outthought by opposing managers in big games. The hugely impressive Andy Whing has got it absolutely spot on and DB, once again when it really matters, hasn’t.
We lack pace in the center of defense and we've been caught out multiple times this year as a result. We look slow in the center mid as well, played 3 that more or less do the same things today. They are fine players but not for this style of football.

Well and truly schooled and desperately disappointing.

Questions naturally being asked about team selection though it is very much easy to do so after the fact.

Second in the league. Strong home advantage. Bring Barnet Back in full swing. TK’s 30th year(?). Shrewsbury, Notts County, Wood - never really felt like we were quite there yet. This year felt different. I see in the newsletter from BBB that fans had already booked flights from Japan for next week. Similarly here albeit with flexible tickets.

After an otherwise fantastic season, what is crucial now is that the project of the past two years doesn’t end here. Come on Bees.

Just put £20 on them to score 4th goal so that eased the pain a little.

I bet on Solihull before the game to ease the pain of defeat (which it hasn't). Sort of knew it'd be easy money.

Moors are for more accustomed to the big occasions.

DB and the players have had too much time to overthink and endless stupid interviews about what a trip to wembley would mean for the club.

Moors playing midweek has suited them massively.

Humiliating
In what way are they more accustomed to the big occasion. That’s the worst excuse I’ve ever heard. We bottled it. Plain and simple. It’s ok to admit that.

they've won an FA trophy semi-final for starters...and they played a play-off final v Grimsby in 2022. Next stupid question?
4-0 at home in a play off semi final. Need I say more. It is ok to be annoyed and angry. We just bottled our best chance at Wembley for what could be years.

This is the most ridiculous explanation for the total lack of guts and courage we’ve seen this afternoon that you will ever see. This team cannot deal with pressure. 70 minutes into a home playoff semi final without a shot on target. It’s been pathetic.
you are just the sort of character who would no doubt bottle it under pressure.

Clearly don't have a trace of empathy or intelligence to realise that there is a whole lot more that goes into 'not having a shot' than being 'bottlejobs' or lacking courage.

All the pressure was on us and we've been unable to deal with it and give a good account of ourselves on the day.

It doesn't undo the excellent season the side has had. No doubt, you too will realise that in the cold light of day tomorrow when you've got all your anger out. For now, go ahead and lash out.

Pathetic is the man who turns against his club on a bad day.
I do agree to a point, yes the manager, players have done well and fully deserved second place finish, but once there a good team well fun then needs to finish the job they have worked so hard to achieve, but yet again and older supporters feel down could see this kind of performance coming, but don't think nobody could see just how badly the manager and players actually were tonight, as said we were out fought, out thought, we were side who looked out on there legs, and didn't see that happening, but pressure can do this.

I really hope the post-match interviewer asks Dean what was done to prepare the players mentally for such a high-pressure match?

Credit to Solihull. We’ve bottled that massively.

A great season will sadly be remembered for that capitulation.

Love DB but he got that wrong today. Absolutely gutted.

A bigger clear out needed in the summer than first thought

God knows what Brennan is saying in that huddle.

I feel utterly sick for all of them. They must just want to go home and cry.

You missed out the FA Trophy semi final we had last year, and the playoff we had last year - it's not like we haven't had the chance to become accustomed.
