Play offs future

Post: # 374846Post John Hunt »

Cheer up folks.

We are just 4,230;playing minutes plus injury time away from an appearance under the Wembley arch in the 24 to 25 play off final.

Third time lucky Deano.

We will not be in next season's Play Offs. We are going to go up automatically. Year ends in a 5. Believe.

Always believe.

Four times Champions has a nice ring to it.

Would you really want us to have an away leg at Solihull, 0-4 down, to look forward to?

Did you go to the second leg at Shrewsbury? I still remember the disappointment of that.

The away leg would have been first! Imagine losing 4-0 at home after drawing the away leg though…

In our case yes but talking generally, a team could be 4 goals down following the first leg.

Yes I was at Shrewsbury. We came close. Sat at the front of the stand and had to go on pitch to avoid the Shrewsbury fans pushing onto the pitch coming down from their section behind us. Odd segregation I remember.

That would be time to channel the spirit of Darren Moore's Sheffield Wednesday against Peterborough.
