Next season

Post: # 375186Post b4life »

The play offs are gone, done, the end. Over the last 2 seasons, Dean Brennan has made watching Barnet fun again. We look forward to the new season, not back. Forward to another successful season, forward to Bring Barnet Back! Once Stan the Man got involved in the 1980s, it took the legendary Barry Fry 5 seasons to get promoted, I believe in Dean to take us there again and quicker than Baz! The most important thing is that we stay together. All the fans who came back for the Play Off, the Amber Battalion, who enhance the atmosphere so well, the players, the management and us at the BFCSA1926, we all need to work together, keep coming to the Hive AND give Barnet Council no option to refuse us our right to return to Barnet. Enjoy the close season, new signings, pre-season and the fixtures to herald the 24/25 season. Come on you Bees!!!!

Absolutely.
As much as Saturday was a disappointing occasion in the end, we should see it as a "bump in the road". On the whole, these last two seasons have been good. In DB we trust, but as fans we also have to believe in ourselves and what we want to achieve for our club. The B2B campaign need not stagnate because of one result, and although I'm glad of a break, I'm looking forward to the Euros and another positive season for our club beyond that. Can't wait to see Trevor Rialist make an appearance in July for our annual Posh friendly.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Time for me to forget about football (apart from the Euros) for a few weeks and watch a bit of cricket. I need to make best use of my season ticket at the Cooper Associates County Ground, where the England football will be shown on the big screen at close of play.
