Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Shame that Dani Lopez has gone down to that level, presuming county league is a good comparison. Although I guess on a personal level it could well be a good move for him (being Spanish and all!), it still seems a pity that his undoubted talent didn't lead to more. Maybe the fondness for fine Spanish cuisine explained his bulkiness!

...and if I'd spent a couple of years in Stevenage I'd be straight back to Spain at the first opportunity ha!

The one and only Michael Leary plying his trade in the Evostick Northern Premier League Division One South for Spalding Town! He is also captain!

It's been a linear decline for him: Grimsby Town (L2/Conf), Gainsborough Trinity (Conf North) and now Spalding Town!

Lopez and Akinde would of been immense
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I disagree.Akinde & MacDonald is much better.Lopez was far too slow!jonbonbaby wrote:Lopez and Akinde would of been immense

I think he meant immense in a more literal sense.JWTBee wrote:I disagree.Akinde & MacDonald is much better.Lopez was far too slow!jonbonbaby wrote:Lopez and Akinde would of been immense
Charlie MacDonald's a much better player than Lopez.

Mr kingoffootball just letting you know that we lost the game after my quote in your signature - I'd rather we hadn't though.kingoffootball wrote:I think he meant immense in a more literal sense.JWTBee wrote:I disagree.Akinde & MacDonald is much better.Lopez was far too slow!jonbonbaby wrote:Lopez and Akinde would of been immense

Yeah, I realise you are safe on that one now - I'll replace it as soon as someone says something worthy!PBBee wrote:Mr kingoffootball just letting you know that we lost the game after my quote in your signature - I'd rather we hadn't though.

Scored a really good goal against Daggers the other week. Just as of old. Turned his man beautifully before firing in off the post.TorME wrote:Ricky Holmes to Cobblers
I recognised the action of what I was seeing as something familiar before I realised who it was I was watching.
Portsmouth are in free-fall and Cobblers have 1 draw and 3 wins since Ricky arrived I think. A proper player who deserves better than the shambles that is Pompey.

"The shambles that is Pompey"
Can any other club match, or even exceed, Pompey's shambles?
Even tHe shambles that is Bristol Rovers doesn't even come near.
