Not enough for us to top Fair Play Table, that honour went to Southend United by 1 point, we were 2nd.
Southend players couldn't afford the fines for bookings early in the season!!

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)

Santos wasn't a sicknote, he played on with a serious knee condition for weeks to try and keep us in the league, then had a major operation and when he returned he just picked up muscle injuries in his comeback where his body wasn't used to playing again. Once his body had adapted he has generally s...

Re: Big games tonight

Any preferences for which team wins the NL Pay Off Final? I think it would be quite amusing if Solihull got promoted. Their ground and facilities will certainly provoke much debate and comment from the other EFL fans. Bromley, of course, will have to rip up their artificial pitch and play their mat...

Re: Changes to National League 24/25 season

Like the fact we can name 7 subs, we should always have a GK on the bench! Now we can use 5, this could help ease the workload on players and help reduce injury risk. The festive fixture idea is good as well. It's quite intense playing the same side twice in a week, although we did ok with it this ...

Re: Barnet retained list

I wouldn't be surprised if Walker and Ashmore swap clubs. No chance we go in for ashmore. Hasn’t been asked to play with the ball at his feet for years. Why would Laurie Walker ever consider joining Borehamwood? He can do better than NLS. if he was going to NLS surely he would go to Hampton as he w...

Re: Transfers 2024/25

Miche Efete (RB) is another ex Wealdstone player who may interest us, currently at Ross County until end of season and was another player in the Grimsby promotion squad that Cropps & JMD were part of.

Big post-relegation clearout at Sutton. https://www.suttonunited.net/news/2024/april/sutton-united-announce-players-who-will-leave-the-club-at-the-end-of-the-season/ He’s 32 now but if Brennan is going to stick with the ‘box’ midfield, with two advanced centre mids, Harry Beautyman has always been ...

They were available for 'premium seats' in blocks c,d & e. Tickets were £3 dearer than the seats in A & B!

The NLS and NLN P.O. Finals will be Worthing v Braintree and Brackley v Boston. Both teams who finished 2nd knocked out. Brackley and Boston both new grounds from the north and Worthing also be new ground from the south. Steve and I have seen Barnet play Brighton in a reserve game in 1998 at Worthi...

Legends bar was dangerous at half time, trying to get out with 100 trying to get in wasn't fun at all and no one would let me out!
