Re: Dulwich hamlet attendance

Goes to show that with a proper matchday experience and local community engagement, the possibility is there. TK should take note.

Re: Barnet retained list

I'd be very happy for Okimo, Freeman and Gorman to stay, and Coker is very adequate back-up though probably not a starter. Laurie Walker is still one of the best goalkeepers in the NL so I hope we have someone just as good or better lined up - very sad how it ended with him but wish him all the best...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

My worry about next season is what is the point in finishing anything other than top if you don't turn up in big games? The same happened last season and we seem to have learned nothing from it or done anything to address it. Yes we need to strengthen the playing side and add grit, resilience and me...

Re: Barnet retained list

There’s a danger of overreacting here. The likes of Gorman and Pritchard were among the most consistent performers in a team that finished second in the league - I really don’t understand why anyone would want them to go. The aim should be to be to strengthen and supplement rather than completely cl...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Incredibly disappointing. Barnet just didn’t turn up. Solihull were on their game, wanted it more and had the right tactics. Too often Barnet, who can be really positive and creative, are incapable of playing the better teams. DB’s post match interview was really disappointing. It is not good enoug...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Let me first say that I have a lot of time for this squad, who’ve given us some great moments this season, but as a self-confessed pessimist, even I could never have imagined the humiliation we witnessed today. It was painfully clear from the outset that the players were crumbling under the weight ...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Slow. Ponderous. Uninspired. Recruitment will be huge, need much dynamism in defense and midfield. Nonsense. The problem isn’t the quality of the players - you don’t don’t finish second with poor players. The problem is with mindset and mentality and players that don’t turn up when it matters most,...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Rebuild for next season. Moors are for more accustomed to the big occasions. DB and the players have had too much time to overthink and endless stupid interviews about what a trip to wembley would mean for the club. Moors playing midweek has suited them massively. Humiliating This is the most ridic...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Don’t know if it’s the management or players or both but this side bottles it in almost every big game. Total lack of grit, resilience and bravery when it matters most. We haven’t been outplayed, we’ve been outfought and out-thought. Again.

Absolutely no idea what DB is thinking. Pritchard is way off the pace.

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread

Just wish Dean would concentrate on how we can hurt opposition instead of being worried on how they can cause us problems, and we set up like this. Maybe now being 0-2 down he may have to change his stance. COYBs Agreed. Need Stead for Pritchard at HT. Nicke is totally isolated by the shape and sel...

Walker

Collinge Thomson Okimo

Cropper Kanu

Gorman Hartigan

Freeman, Kabamba, Stead
Coker for Kanu and I’d agree, though if Pritchard is fit I’d probably start him over Freeman despite today’s impressive display.

Re: Kidderminster Harriers (THTS) The Hawkward Goodbye Match Thread

Some real selection dilemmas ahead of next week if (fingers crossed) players are back fit. I don’t think Kanu or Brunt did anything at all today to justify starting if Pritchard and Stead are fit. Freeman, on the other hand, impressed again and is surely in contention for a starting spot next weeken...

Re: Bromley (THTS) The Thin Lilywhite Duke Match Thread

Watching their goal again, it's Hartigan who switches off and loses his man, although RHJ was also ball watching. That’s RHJ’s man - he just watches him run and doesn’t bother to track him until it’s too late. Only on the pitch a few minutes and has to cost us a point. His recent performances have ...
