In the 1964 / 65 Season Barnet Reserves did not enter the London Intermediate Cup

The reserves would have been unbeaten all that season had it not been for the Southall saga on the 13th April.

Further information about the 1964/65 final it was played on 10th April 1965, Barnet scorers John Wortley 2 Barry Weightman 1. If anybody has a programme from the end of the previous season it should record the result of the previous challenge cup.

When we were young a group of us would occasionally walk home to Potters Bar after the match. If we were lucky we would get a lift in a clapped out old car which sometimes needed a push to start. Happy days.

I can sympathise, currently I have visited 110 grounds but only 63 are in current use in the football league. The first ground to disappear was the White City where I saw QPR play Bristol Rovers in 1963.
