Bees on Loan
Ade’s name is Oluwo, not Oluwu. Seen this misspelling so many times it drives me slightly barmy! If Tavares is out it’s obvs a major loss but given his injury record it’s a miracle we had him fit for so long. Collinge, Grimwood and Kenlock is still a high quality back three, and Rye is more than cap...

Re: Altrincham (Away) The Match Thread Between Evans And Hell
We need a maximum of 10 points to win the league. This assumes that York will win all their remaining games which is unlikely. Rochdale are in good form and could do us a massive favour next Tuesday. I agree a draw would not be a disaster this Saturday. Not sure where you’ve got that figure, we nee...

Project 1000 (106.6%!) - Bring Barnet Back
A big rush of objections late last night... Who really cares at this point? It’s not a referendum. We’ve already ‘beaten’ their numbers on the portal which is obviously great, but realistically the council have probably already made up their minds. If they want a football club in Barnet, they’ll ha...

Re: Winning the League?!
Always wary of teams on a losing run. Alty have lost 4 on the trot and knowing our luck they’ll play out of their skins to prove a point on Saturday. That Linney will be back too. On balance would take a point. We need wins not draws. No point in shaving away our advantage. I am absolutely not sayi...

Re: Winning the League?!
Okay, I'm not sure anyone quite wants to say it yet, but it looks very likely we will win the league!!! Just can't see us losing 4 games… I think it’s 3 games, isn’t it, if York win all of theirs? If they win their game in hand we’re 8 points ahead, so 3 defeats for us and maximum points for York a...

Ugly win on an ugly pitch in an ugly stadium. But another crucial 3 points in front of a mammoth away following? Beautiful.

Can’t find this, would you mind sharing on here please?BeesKnees wrote:Document on the planning application from London playing fields foundation objecting to the plan.
Worryingly it claims Sport England and the Football Foundation have also lodged objections to the plans.

I booked in the seating area as I saw some saying the terrace wasn’t good for atmosphere. Not sure how true it is though, never been.

Re: Project 1000 (65.7%) - Bring Barnet Back Petition
What happened to Canons Park Residents' Association and Sachin Shah ("proud YIMBY" these days according to his Twitter profile)? If it is fair to say that the worst fears of residents local to The Hive have never come to pass, can this be used as evidence to support the case of New Underh...

Re: Daggers (Temporary Stadium) The Five Live Hive Match Thread
It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things but having seen Lee’s disallowed goal back on the BTS footage in slow motion, I feel totally aggrieved. A beautiful goal chalked off for absolutely no reason. It was mayhem for all of 2 seconds!

Re: Daggers (Temporary Stadium) The Five Live Hive Match Thread
Morbid curiosity led me to DB's post-match interview after our 7-3 loss to Daggers in April 2022.
Fascinating to see how Dean's demeanour/confidence has changed over the years.
