Re: Boston United (Hive) The Boston Bee Party Match Thread
All we can do is win the games we play and our return from 13 games albeit having played the bottom 9 is exceptional. Parallels at the moment with where we were at a similar stage last season where we’d played easier games then had a tricky run. I think we are so much better equipped to deal with i...

Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
I wonder if we can turn the 3G pitch nearest to the stadium into some sort of 'funzone' which can house facepainting, bouncy castles etc. on matchdays.
Really glad to see that the promotion went well, very much felt like a final throw of the dice from the club

Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
Hopefully the players are in afternoon assembly at the partner schools tomorrow for one last push, hopefully we get a good crowd and the team gives them reason to come back

I don't think there is a National League branch of dazn yet. All of their 'TV picks' are being broadcast via NLTV whilst they get their channel up and running.

Re: Braintree (Hive) The Cheer Up Seething Dean Match Thread
The one type of striker that our cb's seem to struggle against the most is the physical freak who is both strong and quick. They are able to deal with strikers who only have one of those traits but seem to panic when they can't always outmuscle or always outrun their opponent. I don't really see wha...

Re: DB interview
Wish he'd gone viral a day or two earlier so we could've had the ticket offer for the Braintree game.
No Arsenal or Spurs this Saturday which would've meant loads of casuals taking up the offer.

Re: Braintree (Hive) The Cheer Up Seething Dean Match Thread
There are noises that Effiong could be off to Southend. No idea how much substance there is in that. Braintree fans are more than happy to let him go after five games... Says it all really. At least Effiong's bad performances almost guarantee that big John will start on his return to the Hive. I ca...

Agreed. His problem is his availability, but there's a reason why he's started in both of our playoff games.Jimbokav1971 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2024, 06:35 I think we might have forgotten that Cropper is actually a very good player over and above his long throw. I know I did.

Re: Injuries.
I remember our previous physio answering a question from a fan about our injuries on twitter. He said something along the lines of 'DB is a great guy but he didn't always listen to my advice' I think the phrase he ended his post on was 'DB is the sort of guy you want as a friend, but not as a boss' ...

Re: Gateshead (Away) The Heed of The Table Match Thread
Joe Grimwood in team of the week again and getting plaudits in most matches, whether it’s January or sooner looks like he’s got a role to play for us this season Was thinking this as well. I was wondering if his social media presence lead to him being slightly overpraised but the NL TOTW is a much ...

They're two different entities no? Bees Academy take players from their various bases around London and our 'official' U19s team is kids on the scholarship programme who go to Canons High School

Not a good day for the other ex Bees in the Carabao Cup. RE scored an own goal and Jack Taylor missed a penalty as Ipswich were eliminated by Wimbledon.

Re: Transfers 2024/25
I think the early business means we need to use outgoing loans smartly. Okay its good that we have a gritty player like Shelton to come in when the pitches get worse in the winter or if there are injuries, but if he's just sitting in the reserves for most of the next few months he might need a coupl...
