Re: Pitch invasion
Instead of it being a technically-illegal 'pitch invasion', why don't the club just let fans on the pitch to celebrate at the end of the game (perhaps after allowing opposition players to leave the pitch first)? I'm sure there are county cricket teams who let fans have lunch on the outfield which is...

Re: Sutton on Monday
For those who can't make it to the match, DaZn are doing a (soccer-Saturday style?) watchalong for free on Youtube. Probably the best thing they've done since taking the National League TV rights.

Re: Francis
Think Cropper was arguably our most effective substitute earlier in the season. But, he's never looked as good from the start, his performances off the bench have been worse lately and we don't know how bad his current injury is.

Re: Catering
Wanted to try Nico's Patties at the Dagenham game. Queued for 10 minutes only to be told there was no chicken or vegetarian options and that I could only get a beef (which I do not eat) patty. I see plenty of families who bring food/snacks to eat during the game, don't think its a rule which is poli...

Re: Braintree (Away) The Braintree No Train Bees Match Thread
Interested to know what shape we started with. Was it:
Evans
Collinge, Oluwo, Tavares, Kenlock
Chapman, Brunt, Hartigan, Glover
Stead, Telford?

Re: Braintree (Away) The Braintree No Train Bees Match Thread
I also can't see Ndlovu in any of the content put out this week but very keen to be corrected The club are smarter than we realise with this sort of stuff. When there were question marks over Hartigan a couple of weeks ago he also wasn't in any of the training pics but he started the game and compl...

Gateshead have also signed Tim Akinola. Will be interesting to see how many of these actually start tomorrow.

Re: Altrincham (Away) The Match Thread Between Evans And Hell
My slight concern with DB is MK Dons. Why have they not appointed a new manager yet? Are they waiting? They will be nice and local to DB to enable him to carry on with away from football activities, could easily take Stead, Brunt, Collinge, Kanu etc with him in the summer. Collinge lives in Milton ...

Re: Tickets for Saturday
I don't think there will be any offers, but it would be great if we could average over 3k home fans for all of our remaining matches. Neither Arsenal nor Spurs are playing on the weekend that we play Gateshead and every other game is potentially the day we seal the title or a chance to watch the cha...

Re: Big games tonight
I don't think he'd leave a club where he's spent four years building a culture and ethos which perfectly suits him for a club which will ultimately be in the same division as us next season. I think its much more likely that he'd back himself to get us into a good position in League Two mid-way thro...

Re: Bees on Loan
What a strange season he's had. Started it by playing 11 games in the National League but will end it below the NLS. Played for five different teams as well.

Re: Daggers (Temporary Stadium) The Five Live Hive Match Thread
Coker has an absolute wand of a left foot, but I don't think he'll make the step back to the EFL at 35 if we get promoted and I think he will be one who DB brutally axes if we spend another year in the NL. His post on Instagram at the end of last season hinted that he might have retired had we not o...

Re: Daggers (Temporary Stadium) The Five Live Hive Match Thread
Although the game was quite scrappy, it was great to get a last-minute winner and see the Hive so full on a sunny day. The only negative was that I couldn't try the new Jamaican food because they were sold out of all vegetarian food and chicken wasn't available until half time. I took the club's adv...

Re: Tickets for Saturday
I feel like the straightforward solution to the turnstile problem is to open the old turnstiles for the terrace and then just usher people towards the legends stand/block people from walking behind the goal with a barrier. I also think clear communication needs to be sent out about how to get your Q...

I see Owen Evans has travelled with the team, what a big inclusion that would be.
