Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
Good article. This still really hurts. I don't understand how we go from having just Wynter out to being without O'Donkor and Thompson and with Pritchard virtually immobile and Brunt and Stead unfit to start. Going in to a playoff semi with one fit striker and two fit central midfielders is just dr...

Re: Barnet retained list
Agree we need to retain the core but the challenge is a number of the squad were not good enough meaning DB needed to supplement us with loans. If we can't retain the key loans then we may have a bigger rebuild than you would expect. Acknowledging some may be under contract and ignoring youth playe...

Re: No cup replays
I understand why this looks bad. However I can’t name 2 clubs that have made big money from fa cup replays in recent years off the top of my head. Most of the big money made in fa cup runs has been from clubs getting results rather than replays. I suppose it depends what you define as 'recent years...

Re: Kidderminster Harriers (THTS) The Hawkward Goodbye Match Thread
Being 2nd or 3rd gives us a much longer rest between games, we need to go full strength to keep the sharpness and the momentum. Fine balance though. We also need to avoid needless injury. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would imagine anyone in the 'red zone' will be rested, but most regular fi...

Re: Big games tonight
With Altrincham playing Oxford City at home on Saturday, it now looks highly unlikely that they won't finish 4th.
So, if we're able to get the required result against Kidderminster, we'll most probably be playing either Solihull or Gateshead in the semi-final.

Re: (Near) Rivals
This crossed my mind, but it would represent quite a stylistic shift for Stevenage. Not to say it won't happen, but I suspect there are other options more suited to their current playing squad.

Re: Big games tonight
Expect Bromley to win, but if they do I hope they don’t rack up the goals. If they don’t overcome our +5 goal difference over them across tonight and their final game vs Gateshead, then a draw on Saturday vs Kidderminster will suffice for 2nd place. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things, as who k...

Re: FC Halifax (Club Tropicana) The Milk Float Match Thread
Fantastic to nail down a top three spot today, and put ourselves in pole position for second place. What a great effort from the team this season. Looking at the broader play-off picture, I sincerely hope that Halifax can pick up one win from their three fixtures over the next week, because I really...

Re: Chairman's statement
Not directly related to Barnet / South Underhill, but I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking into Oxford United's new stadium application. Though much larger in scale, there are some similarities with our plans, in that the site they want to build on is currently part of the green belt. They rec...

Re: Bromley (THTS) The Thin Lilywhite Duke Match Thread
The Kanu penalty decision. Looks a clear penalty to me. https://x.com/tomhwilliams23/status/1777824457513402451 The ref missed several seemingly obvious fouls against us, including this one. A very poor display. Hey Mark, you were on Talksport at 2.45am this morning. Great interview with Paul Ross,...

Re: Halifax
Shame it doesn’t look like they’ll be playing the Oldham game before us, was a small advantage them playing 24 hours later than us on a quagmire. Could it not be rearranged for Thursday this week? I'm guessing that the National League won't want to risk a game on the Thursday before the final weeke...

Re: Bring Barnet Back - Fundraiser
Spotted both a Bring Back Barnet t-shirt and Theresa Villiers running Oak Hill Parkrun this morning. I'd say it's likely she would have seen it. I'll claim credit for being the Bring Barnet Back Parkrunner (unless there was another that I didn't spot!) I didn't see Ms Villiers but hopefully she too...

It's not that clear, but this simplified map (missing out some stations) indicates that you can use the freedom pass all the way until Reading:

Re: Chairman's statement
Our highest ever average attendance is 3719 when we won Division 4 in 1991/92. So we'd need to increase the fanbase by over 2000 people from that peak for a 6000 capacity stadium to become problematic. I'd love that to happen, of course, but realistically something around the 6000 mark will be more ...

Re: Bees v Dorking 23rd March
I remember the bogof season tickets, which were awfully taken up. As supporters we also have a duty too and too manny people just simply point fingers at the club Spot on. We are also a club where they gave free tickets out at the turnstiles of the classic sold out Brentford match for the following...
