Re: How was it for you .....
Funnily enough, Saturday was also my first visit for a match at The Hive after I spent some time away doing "charity work' Having seen these condition of the place when the club took over the site, I'm amazed at the transformation. In the two years since I left, the building has been transforme...

Re: The Latest In Window Smashings...
During my time at the club there were a couple of car windows smashed by balls from the training pitch. It takes some doing but its just about possible to get the ball up and over the fence but to get down quick enough with enough force to smash a car windscreen.

Re: Post match hospitality
The standard of spread laid on varies from club to club and funnily enough it appears that the hospitality is better the lower down you go, many league clubs don't bother at all these days. over the past few seasons Barnet have been one of the few still to provide refreshments for the opposition (al...

Re: Just Thinking...
With the ongoing lack of shirt sponsorship, has anyone from B2B approached TK about putting something on the front of the shirt? It still astonishes me that when thanks to the arrival and antics off ED the club are getting more publicity than they have for many years (perhaps ever) that they cant fi...

Re: Hive pictures
I think the club have weightier things to worry about like actually finishing the ground, getting the safety certificates and assembling a squad to challenge for the Conference title. I am not sure if the instillation of a toilet block or adding 3 more seats is worth reporting. But once the hospita...

Re: Game on the 13th
All I'll say is, it wasn't the clubs fault that Newcastle pulled out. It's a joke how they were asking for us to paying for travelling costs and others, don't blame us pulling out of the game against them Its common practice in football, Do you think that when Barnet go to St Albans they do it for ...

Re: JULY 13 2013 (premier league friendly)
Back when Sheffield United were a Prem side the club looked into hosting them for a pre season match. They wanted all expenses paid including a hotel for the night + 50% of the gate receipts. Clubs charging for pre season friendlies is nothing new, Barnet have been doing it for years. We did piss of...
