Re: Joining the Bees in EFL2
Only York and Barnet have been on better form than Southend since Boxing Day. They might just sneak it.

Re: South Stand
Assuming larger away followings means the North Stand is less likely to be available for home fans in L2. Without the north, the home capacity of the Hive is only approximately 3k which is ok for ordinary games but will become very limited for important league/cup/play off games. We could have easil...

Oldham would be my preferred. Or Rochdale whose fans were a great bunch after the away game.Masuka wrote:Oldham are going up.
Wouldn't begrudge York at all after reaching 96 points. Southend need a few more years down here.

Re: DaZN weekly pass just purchased
If I remember correctly iFollow started the last season we were in the League. I watched almost all of the matches that season, and then had to wait until the Covid-season to be able to do so again. But then HollyHam/WrexWood happened, and the rest is history! Ah, I'm glad it seems you will still g...

Been wondering this recently. Is the only way to get our games via a Sky TV subscription?TorME wrote:So nice to cancel my trusty DAZN/NL-TV subscription! Let's see what it will be called next season? iFollow, Barnet+, BarnetTV or BeesTV?

Re: Deano !
Cosmic! Love the ambition to push on. TK will back a manager financially if he has trust and DB is just the man. Fair to say spending in League 2 is on a whole other level compared to when we were there last. In part thanks to the "Wrexham effect". Can't find it now but there was a twitter...

Re: (Near) Rivals
4-3 on 96! This is one of the craziest games I've attended which isn't something I thought I'd ever say about B'wood. Ilesanmi scores two OGs then hits the 96 min winner. One looked like Reynolds tbf. Dorking fans were furious about the first goal. The linesman very clearly flagged for offside, pla...

Re: A special team.
His hit rate with finding players which incrementally improve the side is phenomenal. However they are scouting works miracles.
Many of these players can cut it in League 2.

Re: Aldershot (Hive) The Shot At Glory Match Thread
Surprised the attendance has been given at just under 5.000, seemed way over that, I know Aldershot did not bring many, but our fans filled 80% of the usual away end. Cannot imagine 1.500 extra in the ground today, Aren't EFL rules that clubs have a minimum 5000 capacity...? Anyway, for now, what a...

Re: Aldershot ticket sales
Official sell out according to ticket office staff on the phone. Block B conundrum must be due to us reaching the upper limit of attendance that we are licensed for. I believe THL is now permitted by the council to accommodate 8000. But if it was a case of limiting capacity, it means there was no n...

Re: Aldershot ticket sales
Great to see a sell out but raises the question of when was our last advance sell out that wasn’t a “special occasion” by which I mean not; Promotion decider (ie Aldershot or Gateshead) Relegation decider (various) Play off game Cup game against a team in a higher division. Friendly against Arsenal...

Re: Winning the League?!
The nerves are definitely getting to me. I woke up at 7am this morning dreaming that we'd gone 0-1 down from a solo run in the first 20 or so seconds. The horror of it had woken me up. However, the opposition was Dag and Red, the player was called Noble and the ground wasn't The Hive ( it wasn't a ...
