Re: Woking support
I stood there as a neutral earlier this season. It's uncanny how much it looks and sounds like Underhill's North West Frontier.

Re: Yeovil (Hive) The Apple Watch Match Thread
Did anyone pick up the attendance ? I think it was 1704 but didn’t seem that many so must have been quite a few season ticket holders no shows. Surely no where near that! Look at this pic Aaron McLean posted (below)- you don’t realise how empty the stand is until you see it from the outside. Anyway...

Re: Singing
No issues with winding up the opposition fans or players. It's football and would be lacking something if it was to stop. It's how you do it though. I agree with the OP that the "Pikey"/Traveller chants are out of order and always feel uncomfortable when hearing those chants from our fans....

Re: Maidstone United (Away) The Hakan Hope Match Thread
I’ve a nasty feeling that this FA Trophy run is going to end up costing us a place in the playoffs because of the extra workload. If we win the cup it might seem worth it, but priority should always be getting out of this league Our playoff rivals will be rubbing their hands seeing the extra games ...

What is that assumption based on?thefootballtrimmings wrote:Confirmed by the club that the policy of including season ticket holders in the attendances has been in place in recent years.
No cut off point given but we can safely assume it wasn't in place at Underhill in the noughties.

I was standing directly line for the equaliser. It looked a good 5 yards offside.

Must be a dodgy camera. No fog here. Can see perfectly from the away end.

Re: Sarfend (Away) The Match Thread With A Fishy Tax Return
That is a huge win after the last few weeks against decent opposition. Amazed how we kept running and pressing throughout. If anything they looked the more leggy team.
Echo Moussa was outstanding tonight.
Great atmosphere in the away end throughout the game.

Priory Park had a lot of free parking last season as long as you aren't leaving it too close to kick off.becbee wrote:Where does anybody recommend for parking? We used to park at a school but that wasn't available last season and I remember driving round in circles and getting ever more anxious!

Re: Oldham (Hive) The Cotton Eye Joe Royal Match Thread
I have little doubt we'd have won that comfortably with Walker playing. But what happened, happened. Azaze is one of our own and in the name of "togetherness" some of the name calling is going a bit far. It may be a calculated risk by DB to make the budget stretch further by not having an ...

Re: Live Streaming Returns
Where it's more likely to have an impact, as you say, is Tuesday night away matches. However, the number of people that travel to those games is relatively low at most clubs, so if you can sell streaming passes to a good proportion of away fans who would never had made the trip (say, 300-400 for a ...
