Solihull Moors (Away) The Less Is Moors Match Thread

So..... Friday sees the bees travelling up to a Land Rover factory to watch Barnet take on playoff rivals Solihull Moors FC. The Moors gave up on the season in early March last year but have taken things one step further with a place in the playoffs up for grabs as well as a visit to Dumpster Fire F...

Re: Wanderers (THTS) The Match Thread Dorking at Crossed Purposes

Anyway, moving forward, we haven’t beaten a Top 7 side since September and we now have three opportunities to do so before the end of the season. It’s time we really justified our place in the Top 3. I think the 23 wins and 74 points do that to be fair. There is a point to be made about us not turn...

Re: Wanderers (THTS) The Match Thread Dorking at Crossed Purposes

Apart from the Fylde game our goals scored total since the start of the year has been unimpressive. This game is a great chance to boost our GD which could be critical come the final reckoning, and just get into the habit of scoring eg by taking more shots! Brunt and Hartigan please note. Gorman li...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

That second half was terrible from us. But result ultimately all that matters. Laurie was excellent considering he’s been out in the cold. Play like that in the playoffs and it’ll be over in a heartbeat. Much improvement needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The time is 5pm on 4th May. 15,000 ...

Wanderers (THTS) The Match Thread Dorking at Crossed Purposes

So....... Saturday sees the bees move closer to the end of the normal season as we take on Marc White FC in our latest Banarama Fixture. After battling past Eastleigh, this weekend is a great opportunity for us to solidify our top 3 place with our playoff rivals facing off against each other. Dorkin...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

Coker - Ageing diabetic who struggles to complete two games a week Good man playing professional sport with this condition. It must take a lot of dedication and self control. A modern day Gary MAbbutt. I hope his efforts inspire any younger supporters we have who are diabetic to enjoy sport. Yes fu...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

Funnily enough I thought that with our second half enforced changes a a full on Mike Bassett-4-4-2 may have helped with JMD and Brunt wide and Gorman and Hartigan sitting in. We kind of saw this at the end but if you have basically Gorman and Hartigan as the only effective midfield players then find...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

Yesterday was exactly the kind of win which makes good seasons. We had played really badly in the last two games and with only 14 available senior pros Brennan had no choice but to give his returning players 90 minutes in treacherous conditions which he would not have done otherwise. O'Donkor - subb...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

Good strong team for us tonight. No excuses not to put in a good performance.

Glad to see Kanu back. Will keep Coker on his toes.

Re: Woking (Away) The Mansfield Town Match Thread

I do feel sometimes that our support look for something to complain about and Dean's occasionally brittle interviews are an easy target. He clearly doesn't enjoy them as shown by Connor Smith doing most rematch but they are never as bad as people say.

Re: Woking (Away) The Mansfield Town Match Thread

If someone could tell me how our equaliser is offside I would love to hear it.

Really didn't enjoy how poor we were today.

Woking (Away) The Mansfield Town Match Thread

So..... Saturday sees the bees hit what's left of the road as we travel to Woking to take on the Cardinals in our latest Banarama fixture. With the M25 being out this feels like a day to let the train take the strain, and it will be interesting to see how the closure affects our away following. The ...

Re: Bromley (Away) The Heads, Shoulders, Bees and Foes Match Thread

I was upset when we rested Kabamba and De Havilland up at Gateshead. It was a long journey and one game from Wembley. On Saturday's decision not to risk Thompson or Pritchard I can't say I am massively upset by this. It was a plastic pitch which would have tested a sore back or achilles and with Peb...

Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread

So..... Tuesday sees the bees return to Hive comforts where we have functioning toilets (for a diabetic this matters..) good seats and more than one turnstile (usually) as we take on McCallum FC. After hundreds of bees fans turned up and then watched in stunned silence as the team did not it will be...
