Two Tons

I know it is still early in the season but if we maintain our current progress we are on target for 106 points and 99 goals.
Either result would be amazing (100 goals is surely attainable when our injured players get match-fit).

What a squad Mr Brennan has assembled.

Re: Boston United (Hive) The Boston Bee Party Match Thread

Was it when we lost 2-1 in 89/90 due to yet another goalkeeping brainwave by Peter Guthrie? Shared it on Twitter and yes, a double howler from Guthrie. Flapped at the first and pushed a shot pretty much down the centre of the goal in the last minute for the winner. My recollection of that game is t...

Re: Value for mon

Nobody but nobody is expecting Boston to win at The Hive on Saturday. Punters, bookies, Bees fans and even Boston fans are assuming that the Bees only have to turn up and a comprehensive thrashing of the Pilgrims is inevitable. I think the same way but caution is needed. Boston have won away at York...

Re: Rob Elliott

I bet Mr Brennan is quite happy with his decision to turn down the Manager’s job at Swindon Town.
Swindon sit 21st in League 2 with 6 points from 8 games.
It is not inconceivable that Barnet and Swindon will swap divisions for next season.

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

Because the FA scrapped replays in the rounds proper it has increased the prize funds.
Last season clubs which made it through to Round 1 but lost in that round received no money. This year they will get £15000.
The fund for those clubs losing in Round 2 also increases.

FFS. Complacency breeds despondency.
Hope Mr Brennan and our players treat Chelmsford City with respect.
