Re: Project 1000 (76.2%) - Bring Barnet Back Petition

Good to see the owner of Wanders shoe shop offering his support. He's a lovely man, and I fully recommend his shop to anyone looking for new shoes, I will definitely buy some pre-match if/when we move back! I noticed the BBB poster in his shop the other day. I wonder if we'll see any more messages o...

Re: Project 1000 (65.7%) - Bring Barnet Back Petition

It is nice to see some old Underhill names. Messages from the relatives of those sadly no longer with us are touching, nice that Chris East's mum still goes to matches, shows what football means. Also a few from our newer Harrow fans, that must take guts and shows they can see the importance for the...

Re: Dean Brennan on Match Officials

Has anyone got a clip of the challenge on Hartigan? Also the penalty shout, I heard their defender had their hands around Tavarez's neck?!

Re: Daggers (Temporary Stadium) The Five Live Hive Match Thread

There was a lot of talk pre match about the turnstile queues and stewards so I think it's fair to give credit to the club and stewards as well as fans. I could only get there 15 min before kick off and had fears of massive queue but it was absolutely fine. A few of my friends had issue with the turn...

Re: Tickets for Saturday

I've sent plenty of tickets via WhatsApp and no one has ever had an issue getting in. Seems to me the turnstile just can't cope with numbers, and that the more people there are the more people scanning incorrectly? I often notice people not going through the turnstile when it turns green, and instea...

Re: End of Season awards - 18th April after the Eastleigh match

So for the Lester Finch award, members will be able to nominate 10 days before (via or form or similar I assume), and then the committee will decide based on the nominations. Is that correct? He will get embarrassed (sorry) but Mikel Bee for me, for his time, effort and dedication on this forum and ...

Re: Tickets for Saturday

Excellent stuff. Noticed two turnstiles weren't working last night, so hopefully they will be fixed by Saturday. I'm on a tight time schedule in the morning but will certainly be getting there as early as possible. It goes without saying, but perhaps the club should give the same advice, especially ...

Re: Yeovil Town (Hive) The Yeov Tuesday Match Thread

Another impressive, dominant performance with 11+ candidates for MOM. Hartigan gets my vote, it was incredible the amount of space he found and Yeovil let him have. The way the team is playing there is a significant danger of the claim that “we are going to p**ss this tinpot league” coming true. Ca...

Re: Oldham (A) The Hoot Dares Wins Match Thread

Missed first half. Second half on Oldham radio was the greatest 45 minutes of abysmal miserable commentary I’ve ever heard. Almost no description of the game. Incredibly lengthy silences. And utter despair from both commentators. Best £4.99 I’ve spent in a while! What a run Deano has us on. Gotta e...

Re: Play Off Dates

Well done ETBee, you were definitely a Breaking News person there. 5 weeks after leaking to you, the National League have finally confirmed the dates. They are so tinpot. Ignoring the fact I can't make the final due to never expecting it to be so late, it's bonkers how late the final is. Gives a rea...

Now here is a fantastic interview/podcast, with Danny Collinge. What a guy, so eloquent.

Re: York City (Hive) The Top of the Hill Match Thread

In the famous interview he ranted about why should TK spend his grandchildren's inheritance money on signings, and now he wants a bigger budget. He moaned about our fans, then when they turn up in both numbers and noise, buying lots of sweets and drinks, he barely mentions it. I agree TK should do w...

Re: Project 1000 (27.2%) - Bring Barnet Back Petition

I would argue the fact EN5/EN4 are not so high amongst Barnet fans sums up the issue though and why we need to get back to save the club. People have moved away but a whole generation of Barnet fans has been lost. You can see from the comments the huge numbers whose lives were enriched by the club w...

Re: York City (Hive) The Top of the Hill Match Thread

What a performance! Every player was fantastic and Browne can be forgiven as normally so clinical.

Disappointing Brennan interview though, not the forum for it. Wanted to send it to some mates who don't often come but it's too bizarre.
