Re: Boston United (Hive) The Boston Bee Party Match Thread
Wasn't expecting that! Great result for us although I did worry when Gateshead pulled a goal back in injury time!

He joined us on a month's loan on 13th September so his loan finishes on Friday. We'll have to wait and see whether it gets extended. Maybe Chesterfield won't want him cup tied, in which case there may be a delay before we hear anything.

Re: Bring Barnet Back - campaign thread
What are the general feelings about this at the moment? I hear some say it is done deal - we are coming home, and others quite the opposite. Are people optimistic, pessimistic or realistic? I see Man Utd have an aim to win the league in 2028. Do we have a target date in mind when those of us who li...

He has said that he didn't like job insecurity. Insofar as any job in football is secure, he has that at Barnet. He also has a contract to June 2026.

Re: Proposed competition with Premier League U23
D&R charged adults £10, over 65s £5, under 16s free. Oldham charged adults £5, ST holders £1. Presumably the others also charged discounted prices. Even with subsidies from PL clubs will be financially hit. Oldham fan complained that their next round match is a few days before they play us and t...

Attendances say it all.
I suspect if we'd been playing we'd not even have got that many. The weather was horrible this afternoon / early evening.

When I read the opening post earlier, my heart sank. My intention was to give the thread a wide berth. I'm glad to say I didn't. If I had I'd have missed a really insightful, interesting post from barnet6newport1. Thank you.

Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
When my daughters first went to football as primary school aged little girls ( initially Enfield) what they loved was the tray of "penny sweets " in the club shop. They didn't often get sweets from me and they enjoyed making their choice, which they then ate before / during the match. Thes...

Re: Fylde £5 ticket offer
My 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed the experience and hasn't stopped talking about her day out. She wasn't that interested in the football but was fascinated with Mr Bumble. I told her during the first half that Mr Bumble would be out at halftime or after the game had finished, which kept h...
