Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread
Looks like Walker will be in goal tomorrow (and Saturday as well) judging by his Instagram.

Re: Marvin Armstrong
"Marv was simply another victim of our change in style." What is our style? I'd be interested to hear what fans think it is. I've seen a lot more emphasis on keeping the ball and controlling games, probably Armstrong's weakest area, and a lot less emphasis on breaking with pace and runnin...

Re: Marvin Armstrong
Seems like a bit of a harsh summation of his time here. He's easily good enough for this level just not a starter for a top 3 team. I'd rather have him as an option than Senior tbh Maybe a little harsh but that is football for you I guess! My pet hate in football is players getting praised for runn...

Re: Bromley (Away) The Heads, Shoulders, Bees and Foes Match Thread
What has happened to Marvin? Isn't this meant to be year 2 of a 3 year plan of him becoming a key player for us? Feels like his playing time has just got worse and worse as time has gone on.

Potter not played a minute since joining Fleetwood, a one month emergency loan would be ideal.
If this is genuinely all we have at CB I wonder if recalling Diarra will come into the management teams' thinking

Re: Rochdale (THTS) The Dale for Sale Match Thread
No schools or local football clubs at the game either. I'm not sure if this was a rearranged game but perhaps the ticket offer they normally run doesn't apply in certain circumstances.
Doesn't really matter when the club is moving anyways, short-term pain for long-term gain attendance wise.

Re: Rochdale (THTS) The Dale for Sale Match Thread
I get backing your players but, from the angle that I saw it from, defending that penalty is more delusion than support. Brunt has certainly looked like a man on a mission since. Need a second ASAP, all it takes for them is one long ball over a makeshift backline... Don't normally like when teams pl...

Re: Jerome Okimo
I know he's had an excellent injury record over a long career, but it's going to be a hard ask for him to play every minute of every match until the end of the season when we're playing Saturday-Tuesday most weeks. We need another left-footed centre back in so he can get an occasional rest.

Re: Josh Keeley
I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Peterborough next year, regardless of whether they are in the Championship or L1, Fry and co. seem to love taking a risk on a young keeper. I'd also be surprised if he's still doing half of the week at Spurs and half of the week with us given that Laurie doesn't...

Re: Transfer Targets??
I also thought the criticism of him was overdone. He had three good chances, all on his weaker foot; one he scored from, one he snatched at and put over and one where he was denied by an excellent save. Shame he couldn’t have scored one of those other two, but from listening to/reading some of our ...

My god that is poor journalism from the Daily Mail - the top comment underneath the tweet of the flair being thrown at the ref clearly shows that it came from the Wealdstone end

Re: Wealdston (The 75% Stadium) The Sweet and Sour Match Thread
Someone said similar about Stevens after the Southend game (I can't remember if it was on here or on Twitter), Thompson won't work as a central centre-back for us. It was clear as day in the first half that he had no pace, all it took was the Wealdstone manager bringing their number 11 on to run in ...
