Re: Wanderers (THTS) The Match Thread Dorking at Crossed Purposes
Nobody’s talking about GOD’s cross for Kabamba when the Dorking keeper made a worldie save. GOD’s cross was unbelievable

Re: Marvin Armstrong
We played him as a high presser because his technique was poor and he wasn’t secure enough on the ball.jonbonbaby wrote: ↑15 Mar 2024, 12:41 Very harsh , came with a rep as a defensive midfielder ( I think ) then played as an attacker because he’s quick
Hartigan or Armstrong? No contest

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I don’t know how he’s managed to steal a living at this level. When he first came on loan I thought he was awful and nothing I’ve seen of him since has convinced me otherwisemoortownbee wrote: ↑08 Mar 2024, 17:28 Alfie Pavey has been recalled from his loan spell at Braintree Town and returned to Woking.
One goal in Six whilst there.

Re: Rochdale (THTS) The Dale for Sale Match Thread
I think it's time for a serious chat about our home support in light of recent developments with Back to Barnet. Yeh I'm in Berlin so couldn't have come, but there's no way I'd be attending of I was at home - 1 home game since September (more away) for me. Can't put a finger on when I'll be at The ...

Re: Kabamba new deal
Much as I love Nicke, I think a three and a half year extension for a 31-year old is completely insane. He'll have turned 34 a few months before the end of this deal. Personally, I don't think he's the kind of player who will decline significantly with age, seeing as his game is more about smart mo...

Re: Chesterfield (H) The Freeze a Crowd Match Thread
I think Freeman has been limited to what he has around him. Players like him are looking for movements that players at our level aren’t switched onto. Noticeable last night that he was telling players who to pass to and they just couldn’t see it and were passing back The one player who seems to be o...

Re: Chairman's statement
I’m convinced that the council statement is part of the public dance. I just can’t believe TK would have come out with this completely out of the blue after 4 years without any indication from the council that this is a goer
It’s just too random to not have legs.

Re: Chairman's statement
https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/barnet-fc-new-stadium-the-hive-2024-b1140251.html This doesn't sound too promising... I’m sure this is part of an orchestrated public approach. TK announces plans, council claim that it won’t be so easy, plans have a couple of tweaks, council make noise tha...

Re: Chairman's statement
Looking at this rationally, is this new stadium part of TK’s exit plan? Move the football team out of The Hive and then sell the club and new stadium as a package with The hive being sold to a larger team? On the books we already rent training facilities from The Hive stadium so nothing would change...
