I also rememeber complaints while he played for us that he hardly crossed the halfway line, Crossing was not strong either.
Time to move on IMO. Though imagine having a left back with Sean Gale's crossing ability again.

Re: Sanchez for manager.
There are many high profile managers who will remain on the bench as the number of positions at championship and premiership levels are finite. With a trend to going for overseas coaches even at lower level - think De Matteo, Poyet etc. Sanchez and the like may have to set their sights lower. Peter ...

Re: Izale
What summed up McLeod for me was the nonchalant way he strolled down the pitch, lovely simple footwork, into the box and won the penalty. No obvious effort, just natural ability. Just hope he appreciates that TK rescued his career and signs a new contract with us. If that includes a clause that if ...

Re: Right TK, NOW IS THE TIME TO SORT IT OUT
An assistant manager with a Barnet connection: Graz, Sumo etc. can provide the emotional/motivational required to compliment an experienced manager. Why not Laurie Sanchez or similar? With the number of foreign coaches coming into the game, managers have to set sights lower now. If we can get a &quo...

Re: Mark Marshall
Mark Marshall can be very proud of his contribution this season. For me he was my Player of the Year and had the ability to excite even when we were playing out our worst.
If he can practising "beating the first" man when crossing he will be even better next year.

Re: Rock Bottom
Can't we dwell on staying up before bringing out the Giulianotine?? This season has proven that with the appropriate manager in place, we already have the nucleus of a team for next season. Personally I cannot understand why everyone has banged on all season regarding Dennehy being the great defensi...

Re: Izale
His turnaround has been pretty amazing. At the start of the season he was the worst striker I've seen at Barnet since Mark Cooper in the 90s. Now he's one of the best. Ouch!!! You rank Tony Richards and Jamie Ndah higher? Are you serious? He scored almost immediately in a team that were struggling ...

Re: F'in nervous
I never got to go to the game.
My flight landed from Faro at 13.30 at Luton Airport and a mad dash home ended up in
me finding out the immobiliser had completely drained the battery of my car to the point that
not even a jump start worked.
I was furious and had to rely on text updates.

Re: April 6th..put it in your diaries.
However much I love the Bees, anything more than a 3 points deduction would be extremely harsh compared to only 10 points deducted for clubs who use "Administration" as cheat to avoid paying creditors full whack for services provided. Realistically it remains Burton or Northampton for the ...

New nickname for Barnet: "heeBee jeeBees"
Having witnesses the highs and lows of many seasons I think this is
very appropriate.
I get the heebee jeebees every time I watch our beloved team, with the blind optimism
we will win the game in front of us.

Re: Is that it then?
Has MA struggled to find any more players who don't want to play 8 games for strong relegation favourites? Was really hoping for an attacking midfielder but main thing now is to give it a go tomorrow. We are unlikely to keep a clean sheet against the top side and clearly haven’t been a physical sid...
