Re: Chairman Responds to Ticket Increase
As Ladybee says, it's crazy. £75k is optimistic as it doesn't take into account cancellations, reduction in walk up tickets, and loss of revenue at bars etc, so might be a nett loss. Let's say it was £75k, you have 1 - 1 1/2 players. Is this increase actually covering the terrible transfer dealings ...

Re: Chairman Responds to Ticket Increase
Despite some of the comments on the ludicrously titled other thread, I think that actually TK (or AAK as he obviously prefers to be called) does listen - I knew that inevitably there had to be a response - there was no way that this was going to be ignored. Some of my thoughts: I take full responsib...

Re: Ticket prices next season
As many have said the price hike seems a lot and people have every right to cancel, but the saving of 30% on 2 games seems fair. 23 home games, lets say the BBQ, the gym, the pre season friendlies and the 15% off represent the equivalent of one extra match day, thats 24 home games, 2 a month, 30% s...

Re: New FL league format
Barnet had 23 home league matches last season, with a total attendance of 54,233, or 2,358 per game. Under the proposed change we would have 19 home games, so to maintain our total attendance, the average crowd per home game would need to be 2,854. So around 500 more per game, which even without som...

Re: Our money grabbing chairman
I think the poll has been useful and those that have voted negative will carry out their intentions, but it's a fraction of the support base and the vast majority not voting will fall into the carry on regardless camp. Will only take 10% or about 160 people to stop coming for this price rise to be ...

Re: How will the price change affect you
You can change your mind!
I'm intrigued by the 'I will move to cheaper seats' option. Does that mean watching from the away end? Otherwise, can't really save money moving to cheaper seats (no-one pays in the East do they?).

Re: Ticket prices next season
The price hikes are hard to swallow, but even more unpalatable is the lack of the forewarning and the tone of the press release which misjudges the mood of these increases so badly it staggers belief. The chairman, if he has anything about him, needs to urgently comment and give context to these in...

Re: Ticket prices next season
Cheapest Home Seats Season Tickets: This is for 16/17 - and i've excluded Family Stand tickets which are plenty cheaper in some places (like Leyton Orient) - I did use all the Early Bird Offers - many clubs had them from 01 March. I only chucked in West Ham & Chelsea of the Premiership - but a u...

Re: Ticket prices next season
Do we still have a Supporters Liaison Group? If so, was it asked for any input into these new prices? I don't believe they see this as part of their brief unless things have changed from a year ago: I've said previously (somewhere on this forum!) I personally didn't feel comfortable our group deali...

Re: Yiadom joins Barnsley
The man came to us as a bit part winger from Braintree having to cover Freddie Warren at RB. Worked bloody hard, covered 3 or 4 different positions, and you always felt he was learning as he went along. Left everything on the pitch, always. Hope Barnsley get promoted now! Cheers for everything Yids,...

Re: EasyFundraising - Back2Barnet Funds Reallocation
Just want to put my thoughts in :D In order of priority I think the money should go on: 1 - Statue of John Doolan 2 - Re-signing of Liam Hatch 3 - Put the lot on NorthwestBees next bees related horsey hunch as they all do so well ( :D ) - would have been about £5k if we'd gone e/w on Allen's Folly, ...
