Re: Curtis Weston

I thought he was decent enough, not week-in, week-out mind but he gave our midfield a bit of bite - something we lacked all season long. I thought he could have done a job for us next season in the Conference, but he's gone now so let's look forward. Who are WE gonna sign?? Midfield needs sorting ou...

Re: Still In!

Glad we've done this early - plenty of time to get things in order for next season. And can't argue with the experience he has, just hope he's still hungry for success. Maybe he can convince Akinde to stay??

Re: Martin Allen no longer Barnet Manager

I throw my hands up in despair. What is TK playing at? Is he happy with us being a National League club? How long will it be before he surfaces to explain his way out of this one? Not defending TK, but this sounds more like MA who's made the decision not to stay, rather than TK not offering him eno...

Re: Martin Allen no longer Barnet Manager

Was a bit weird that he (assuming it was him) made the call to release some players, options others and offer new contracts to some - I thought with that activity that he would stay on. Must have been someone else calling the shots on the future of the players? And deciding to put Akinde up? WHo's c...

Re: Memberships/ Ticket prices 2018/19

I can see stands being closed a lot next season - if we struggled to get over 1,500 in for most games (home fans - away attendances will likely be even smaller in the Conference) then they'll probably close the North stand completely and put the few hundred away fans at the end of the West Stand whe...

Re: Whatever happens on Saturday....

If (when??) we go down, I think he's probably the best option to get us straight back up. It won't be pretty, but it's the Conference so we just need to get out of there as quickly as possible, so if we have to hoof to Akinde every week, then let's do it. He's a bit more settled now so I think he'd ...

Re: Morecambe (Away) The Thread Betweeen Eric and a Hard Pla

Also asking for a friend - has anyone ever come across Barnet's ifollow games on streaming sites? Obviously most games are Prem, La Liga, Serie A etc, with occasionally a Championship game - just wondering if anyone has ever seen a stream for a Bees game?

Re: Morecambe (Away) The Thread Betweeen Eric and a Hard Pla

Grimsby seem to have fight in them (despite being really fortunate to get that penalty at Swindon) so I can see them beating Notts County tomorrow.

Re: Coach For Morecambe

Can't believe the club has had to publish an article about how much the coach cost them due to people are moaning about them making money from it.

I mean, fair play to the club for doing it but I can't believe it's come to this.

Re: Newport County (Hive) The Match Thread Clutching at Stra

With the glorious sunshine and the £10 offer for the South stand, what sort of attendance are people thinking we'll get?

Re: Match day experience at The Hive next season

For me season tickets are preferred to membership scheme. There's no Barnet games during June/July (ok some PSFs) but you still have to pay your monthly subscription. You can obviously cancel, but then re-joining at the start of next season incurs another joining fee. (Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Re: Match day experience at The Hive next season

Ticket prices need to be looked at in my opinion, especially if we are playing in the Conference next season. As someone previously mentioned, there's little chance of attracting the 'casual fans' or potential new fans with the current pricing. If someone in the local area has a free Saturday aftern...

Re: South Terrace Offer Extended for Newport Game

£10 for the ground would be good - getting the West stand packed would have an impact I'm sure.

Re: South Terrace Offer Extended for Newport Game

Good stuff. I wonder if they'll do it for the last home game.

If it goes down to the wire and the last game will decide our fate, surely they have to try and fill the place (with Bees fans!) - another ticket promo is probably the best way to pack 'em in.
