Barnet Furniture Centre is a registered charity which brings multiple benefits to both the community and the environment. The Centre aims to:

provide residents with good quality furniture at prices to suit all budgets
prevent good quality furniture from being flytipped or going to landfill
provide job opportunities and volunteering placements.

We operate both a warehouse shop and a collection service for unwanted, good quality furniture and homeware. We have re-used over 300 tonnes of furniture since opening.

The project was made possible by funding from the London Community Resource Network, Barnet Homes and the Milly Apthorp Charitable Trust and is part of a network of recycling and reuse initiatives occurring across London.

We are always looking for reliable volunteers to join our friendly team.

Buy

Barnet Furniture Centre is an Aladdin’s Cave of furniture and homeware and is open to the public to browse and pick up a bargain. A two-tiered pricing system is in operation, to subsidise furniture for those on low incomes. For information about visiting us, please see our Contact Us page.

We stock all kinds of furniture including beds, wardrobes, chairs, dining tables, coffee tables,
sofas, sideboards, dressers, rugs, tea-sets, crockery and much more.

Donate

We collect donations of unwanted furniture, which will be refurbished and prepared for sale by
a team of staff and volunteers. Please note that items will be taken at our driver’s discretion.

We collect large and small pieces of furniture, paint, rugs, small homeware items, crockery,
electrical goods including PCs, lamps, stereos, kettles, toasters and fridges.
