Was PF was referring to Walker when he talked about a player who didn't want to be here, thought he was too good for the club etc?

I would put at least 50P and a Barnet scarf on this being the player

A few things struck me from the conversation:

Jason Puncheon good enough for England

A sense of frustration from PF about how his career ended and the direction the club went. The Robson part was very interesting.

League 1 and above in 10 years. No chance.

The presenters mentioning drawing a line under what has gone on after this season in regards to the move, TK etc. Something tells me they are not ready to draw a line under it though.
Wasn’t that ridiculous about Puncheon. There was a spell at Palace where there were people talking about him getting a call up for England.
Fair point, think it was mainly paper talk as on paper he looks to be some distance off a call up.

We are back again this morning with the previously completely unheard and unreleased thoughts of Danny Brown who gave a highly entertaining recollection of his time at the club.

You can listen in the usual podcast places or directly through the site...

To be clear this was not released by mistake and has never been heard before...!!!

I can’t see who else he would have been referring to other than Walker given he’s hardly played, if that is the case it’s v disappointing. We plucked him out of Hendon to give him his opportunity in f-t football....memories are short!

Good listen that was (Danny Brown)
Would have been good if he said what he thought went wrong after xmas in 99-00 season especially in the February time when we went 5 games without scoring.

Some funny stories in there.

Danny Brown, what a listen! Really good stories in there and fantastic to hear him doing well at Billericay too.

He's not the first to say in hindsight to say he wasn't right mentally to appreciate his time at Barnet, had the same conversation with Ross Flitney last season.

We’re back this week and this time we’re with Mark Hughes who talks about his familiarity with last day escapes culminating in that amazing moment at Burton in 2012. Any excuse to bring that one up...

Not many have had the chance to stand on both sides of the line, but Danny Hart has. He gave us a terrific insight into what it’s like to play for the club he’s supported since he was a boy.
