The report on the fan led review of English Football Governance headed by Tracey Crouch has been published. It is a long read but contains some interesting recommendations which if implemented will require a different relationship between Clubs and supporters at all levels down to the National League.
Amongst other things there would be a requirement for an independent regulator for English football, shadow boards with a requirement on club owners to consult them on financial aspects of the club, the establishment of Community Benefit Societies to hold and exercise golden share rights over things affecting the club’s heritage (club name, first team colours, sale of stadium, permanent relocation etc.
It will be interesting to see how many of the recommendations are implemented.

Fan Led Review of Football Governance
Re: Fan Led Review of Football Governance
Don't hold your breath. Money talks in football and if the Saudi ruling royal family, with their human rights issues, can buy Newcastle a bureaucracy, probably headed by Heather Rabbatts, would make no difference.
